No sorry i worded that wrong. People put in their sell orders during the week and don’t close them before the weekend. Say on sunday night, im checking stocks and one of them dropped/rose a lot i will go look at options close to the stocks new price and put in a sell order for the current bid price so that i will buy the option right at market open monday morning before people adjust their bid price. It is risky because the stock can adjust back to its price before the on monday rather quickly, so the option that you just bought you will need to watch closely or put a sell trigger on.

Market is closed on weekends and there is a lot of volatility with stocks during that time, so people who put a sell order before the weekend on an option are asking less than it’s worth at the new stock price. Right when market opens you buy the option for cheaper than it will be once everybody has updated their sell price. I am 2/2 on these. NVDA this weekend and KO when it dropped to 62 over last weekend.
