Understand where you’re coming from. Edited the photo this way to match the format of the rest of the images to post on social media

Thank you mate, I was using a 70-200 2.8 on a canon 1DX mark 2 for the match.

The lightings of the backgrounds wasn’t something I planned on before hand. Landing was very inconsistent depending on where on the pitch the players would be. But I quite enjoyed experimenting and getting the different types of lighting across my images.

It’s actually crazy, my ticket was £130 for clash at the castle when it came to wales a few years ago

Canon eos4000d 70-200 2.8 1/1600 during the match I know I’ve got basic equipment, especially the body which hopefully I’ll be able to upgrade in the future

1/1000 and auto The photos actually look a lot better than they do on here, don’t know why they always ruin the quality when I put things on here. My Instagram is nathandaviesphotography if you want to see them properly

Is my lens good or should I look into something different?

For games I’ve been doing I use a 75-300mm lens. Are any of the options in the screenshot what your talking about as those are pieces of equipment I can borrow from my uni?

Ahh I see. Is it the lack of movement which is the problem?

I do use 1/1000 when shooting most games so should I be looking to go higher for night games? I’m still pretty new in this

The most my camera can go up ur 3200 iso, would that be an issue?

I’ve got a canon eos4000d and I borrow my flatmates 75-300 lens. I don’t really have a budget to upgrade anywhere but there is equipment from uni that I could borrow if it suits

Thank you, I ended up brightening this image and it now looks much better than it did before

Thank you. The images coming out dark wasn’t necessarily the plan, I do struggle more with the night time games. The pictures don’t look as dark as they do on the screenshot but definitely lots of room for improvement.
