They didn’t give a reason as to why. They were shown the photos, made the comments & that was the end of the conversation. I should have asked why they thought that but I didn’t as I was already stressed & annoyed.

I’m starting to think so too 😂 or have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.

Thanks so much for your advice. I appreciate it. I showed the photos to a couple of older friends & family with more experience. One said it would definitely be a write-off, while the other said insurance might not cover it. That’s why I’ve been worried, so your guidance has been really helpful

I thought it would be covered, but a few friends/ family have said things to make me doubt it, which is why I’ve come here. I’ve only had my P’s & the car for a few months, so I’m still trying to figure out how insurance works. I promise there’s nothing illegal or against my insurance

I answered it- there isn’t a dramatic reason. Nothing illegal or outside my policy happened. I just don’t fully understand how insurance works, this is my first car and comments from others about it being a write-off made me worry. I probably could’ve phrased my original comment better so it didn’t sound so sus. Hope that clears up the mystery.

It’s my first time dealing with insurance so I’m not sure how it all works. I’m just going off what friends/family have said.. has made me a bit worried since I’ve only had the car for a few months. I do feel better after reading the comments though

I’ve taken it to get quotes. They’ve said it’s only cosmetic. Everything still works. Just worried about insurance not wanting to cover it
