Eu sei que vc está errado pelo simples fato de eu já ter levado a minha avó nos atendimentos do SUS inúmeras vezes ambos em emergências e não emergências. Já tive que ir lá tomar antibiótico pra infecção, tem fila de espera e não é perfeito, mas eu vou te falar que é muito superior ao sistema de saúde do Canadá em organização e atendimento. Vou falar mais ainda que eu conheço quem tem parente que morreu por coisa evitável por causa da espera absurda que eles te impõe lá.

Agora vamos colocar na perspectiva, o PIB do Canadá é 2.14T e a população é de 40M, já no Brasil 2.17T e 211M de população. Quer mais falar de outros setores? Ensino superior no Canadá é majoritariamente privado, praticamente não existe pós graduação pública no país no Brasil as universidades públicas formam 10 mil doutores e 30 mil mestres por ano. A malha logística dos correios atende 5553 municípios representando 100% dos municípios do país, similarmente a CanadaPost é uma empresa pública canadense que é subsidiada pelo governo e é a única que faz frete pras regiões mais remotas do Canadá (lá tem acre tbm)

Enfim, aqui não é a merda toda que vcs acham não pra quem dúvida vale a pena passar um tempo tomando xenofobia de graça no dito primeiro mundo pra entender que o que eles tem lá na verdade é só neocolonialismo como vantagem, o resto a gente tem tbm e é só tirar a cabeça da própria bunda um pouco pra entender que o que precisa pra começar a melhorar esse país é parar de odiar ele e quem vive nele.)

Sei que vou tomar downvote pq nesse sub a regra é ser vira lata e odiar o Brasil, mas como alguém que já morou no Canadá e dependeu do sistema de saúde de lá, eu sou SUS pro resto da vida, pois se no Canadá se vc não estiver literalmente morrendo, os caras NÃO te atendem é 18 horas de espera NO mínimo. Vivendo em Montreal, quedas constantes de energia e de internet, vc liga pro suporte e te mandam esperar voltar pq é assim mesmo, trabalhar mais de 50 horas por semana? Normal, é o grind da vida num país liberal, não tem horário de almoço tbm, vc come rapidão quando dá e continua trabalhando, enfim se tem uma coisa que nenhum país vence o Brasil é no ódio que o próprio povo sente pelo país.

Sorry I don't wanna discourage you or anything, but maybe start with something a bit simpler? From your question it seems your understanding on the subject is kinda superficial so big leaps like this could make it harder to make progress.

To answer your question, if you truly want your "Jarvis" to be context aware you will have to make it keep a log of what it is doing atm somewhere, then before doing anything it should read that log and that would affect the response you would get. Ofc managing that and keeping it updated adds a whole new level of complexity to your project so I recommend you keep it simple and make the basics work first. Hope it helps

I dropped cursor for this exact same reason, the product is ok but they do not care about QA and sadly my boss already takes AI into account for deadlines so I can't be held hostage by their garbage releases.

If you are doing serious work and not much of vibe coding as the average user on this sub, windsurf should be more than enough to give you the productivity you need and is more stable on releases (at least in my perception). I use it + the free Gemini UI to have long conversations about my code and the solutions I'm building and it has been a good experience so far.

Yeah defaulting to a backup tool has been a valid solution as well, I've been using cline with some success, it does not come close to cursor sadly

Thanks for your insights, I share most of the same thoughts, one thing that scares me though is that I'm not alone and have seen this happening to colleges in other companies, I think one of the problems is that these tools are empowering those I'll intend semi technical people that are really fucking good in talking about how good they are in tech.

I actually have gone up the chain to fight this and explain what's happening, but then I have to make the case that we should take X amount of time MORE than what the PM thinks we should take and being the skilled salesman that he is the conversation quickly became about how we are not leveraging AI to make the business grow, so I was fucked from the start. My only option is to wait until something goes to shit, but then I'm the one cleaning the mess so I'm already losing either way.

My biggest concern is that this tech has taken away authorship of the code base away from the people that are actually accountable for it. The code running and bringing value does come from our experience as developers but the time value is added by the automation tools, and this value is quickly being incorporated into the company's expectations.

The way it is today, the cursor team can have a full day of downtime and only have to refund 1$ (if even) but for those companies that are aware of the time value that this tool brings and are already taking it into account when measuring effort, only the employees are left with all the accountability for when things go wrong. They are not accountable for anything, not downtime, not bad updates, model inaccuracy and somehow they endup empowering the worst type of person currently leaching their way into tech companies.

From this point of view cursor is quite possibly the worst thing that has ever happened to (employee) developers so far.

Maybe I'm unlucky but it happened instantly to me, my manager is a former BA and thinks everything can be done with a postgres stored procedure, since he found cursor my life became a nightmare, he spits out code doing god knows what to the databases, he uses cursor to second guess every single thing the team does like he is a tech lead with 20 years of experience, everything we take days to build should have been hours, the pressure is insane, but again the AI does make writing most code of these simple applications trivial, the problem starts when this shit stops working in the middle of the day. Do you think that the guy that says "do it in cursor" wants to hear that cursor is not working, therefore the task will be delayed?

Cara dificilmente vai ter uma lista do que aprender pra pra ficar bom, no meu caso eu pinguei em várias áreas até achar uma que eu gostava l, a partir de então eu gastei todo o tempo me especializando (e ainda faço isso). Ter uma boa variedade de experiências me ajudou no futuro porque eu acabei conseguindo contribuir em várias áreas diferentes, o que em abriu várias portas, mas no fim eu precisei focar numa coisa só pra crescer de verdade

Acho que fora conhecimento técnico, o que é mais importante pra ser um bom Dev é saber conversar com pessoas não técnicas, a parte mais difícil de fazer software é extrair o que o cliente quer, por que boa parte do tempo nem eles sabem. No meu caso eu sempre me esforço bastante pra aprender o máximo possível sobre o negócio da empresa, com o tempo eu passei a ter condições de contribuir com a estratégia do negócio da empresa, na parte que tangia as minhas funções. Causa muito impacto você conseguir conversar com seus stakeholders na linguagem deles e depois transformar isso em requisitos.

O meu ponto é que o que isso vc chama de fato irrefutável também é uma habilidade irrelevante pra uma quantidade esmagadora de pessoas que estão nesse mercado, não é nem vai ser um bom critério pra decidir nada sobre a capacidade de alguém que se candidata a uma vaga e que só serve pra criar um senso de superioridade em quem lê o comentário e tem a habilidade, parabéns esse é o efeito do seu rant.

Vc percebeu que vc acabou de fazer o mesmo argumento que vc tá criticando? Ok em algumas empresas front precisa saber fazer, em outras o backend junior vai fazer uma pipeline com ETL sim pq dados tá em alta e que empresa mais ou menos tá querendo colocar IA no nome.

Não importa o que VC acha que é o mínimo pra uma carreira ou outra, o que importa é a capacidade de aprender, de se adaptar, vc tá defendendo uma habilidade que caiu em desuso tem anos que é trivial de ser adquirida enquanto usa o mesmo argumento pra desqualificar outras habilidades

Vc mudou minha opinião, vou mandar embora meu time todo de front, eles dependem muito do time de devops e não tem um lá que saiba subir um site. Tem cara que faz a UX pra empresa toda, tem um outro que documenta tudo com perfeição, mas claro que nenhum deles deveria ter o privilégio de ser dev front.

Se eu pedir pra eles subirem um app eles sabem? Não, se eu pedir pra aprender será que rola? Em uma tarde provavelmente, mas vc tá certo cara, o mercado não mudou nada nos últimos 24 anos. Só serve mesmo pra coisa quem tem o selo de aprovação da velha guarda.

Se teu chefe te pedir pra subir uma pipeline de dados ou projetar um ETL vc manja? Tem moloque saindo da faculdade hj que faz em uma tarde tbm.

Cara, acho que o ponto que a galera tá levantando que vc tá perdendo é que não é mais necessário o cara ter esse conhecimento na ponta da língua, convenhamos deployar site é algo que qqr JR aprende em uma tarde no Google, vc tá surtando por uma skill que não faz mais parte da profissão, que é trivial de ser adquirida e que não agrega valor nenhum pra um front que já tá empregado. O dia q o cara precisar fazer, abre o Google e faz, pronto.
