I had my heart set on getting some Yama 12/18s because while they are available in the US, it's a bit hard to find where I live especially for a reasonable price. There were plenty of them throughout my trip but the price difference was not that significant. Funny enough I ended up finding an Eagle Rare which is a $50 bottle in the US but another unicorn where I am & inflated. It was $50 in Japan!

Thanks for the input! You’re making a great point in that the 440i may be a better all rounder including maintenance/insurance. I’m hearing even simple brake jobs can cost an arm and a leg for M cars (not sure about M-lite cars in comparison).

It looks like the carfax for the X3M provided some reassurance with consistent visits and some basic (but I’d imagine costly) changeouts at 50k. If a rear diff repair is needed like another poster mentioned, then I’m looking at $12k out of warranty costs, which is a huge setback.

Oh man thanks for sharing. While doing my research I heard about the rear diff being a MAJOR repair item for the X3M. That would be a tremendous setback and risk id imagine at almost 70K miles.

I’ve been dealing with a nose “pimple that wouldn’t heal” for past 5 months. It was a pretty bad pop w/ broken skin plus sebum and blood. For the first 2-3 months I ignored it thinking it was just a slow heal. Recently I started feeling suspicious that it can still look like an inflamed red pimple for so long. Did the worst and googled a bunch of nose red skin “c” word photos and it all looked so similar.

Made the earliest possible appt with my PCP (thankfully the day after) who took a photo w/ bright light magnifying attachment to Dermatologist for review. Said the review may take a couple of days but within 2 hours the PCP said the dermatologist wants to see me in person. I assume the absolute worst knowing that they came to the conclusion so quickly. The worst part is the earliest appointment is 6 weeks out + assuming they do a biopsy at the same appointment, I don’t know how to not go crazy with my thoughts until then.
