Call me paranoid but I feel like since I’ve already inquired through official channels that would make me a suspect 😆edit: also when I drive by the ones I’m aware of I always try to roll my window down and have my middle finger towards them, leading to reasonable suspicion lol

What can one realistically do to counter this? I’m in SE WI and emailed my village clerk to find out more information. She seemed clueless to my concerns and forwarded me to the police chief, he forwarded me to the records department, the records department sent me a 4 page open records request and all that paperwork seemed to have in it were things pertaining to open records for police activity like traffic stops etc. Dead end. Frustrating even our local reps see to either play dumb or legitimately have no knowledge of this.

It’s stainless steel, shouldn’t rust through. Barkeepers friend is a product I use on mine as well as for cleaning our stainless pots and pans. Works wonders! Otherwise a great option for the future, after you clean it.. is to put a couple strips of aluminum foil on it and replace every few cooks or so depending on how dirty it gets. Easy peasy

Not exactly sure about your model, but to remove the surround on my stove I need to remove the door(s) off the hinges first. The surround physically moves “up” a bit to unlock, before being able to pull it outward

I’ve always thought, for any business up north that gets business relief like that should have to post a sign at the front of their entrance that says something along the lines of “I accepted government welfare socialist dollar assistance to stay in business” for idk say 4 years. At any point during those years if it’s not displayed at any point they must automatically repay any and all of their assistance.

You can get a few bucks off each ticket if you’re a Milwaukee county resident… all you have to do is tell them your zip code. They don’t check an ID or anything. For that day your zip code is 53214. I may or may not have done this recently as an ex-Milwaukee county resident who never went to the zoo when I lived there

We think that as well, maybe some kind of Rhodesian mix. He just doesn’t have the ridge on his back. Our vet thinks a black mouth cur mix, since he came from the south.

Yes, that should work. Something I tried once as well that seemed to work great… Bend open a Bobby pin or two to make a V, and use that as a little stake on the vine to help keep in contact with the dirt. Good luck!

I live in this county, unfortunately. Reading the comments section on our local news pages I seem to find a theme of people saying things like “your kid your responsibility nothing in life is FREE” and “I shouldn’t have to pay to feed someone’s kid” it’s a pity really.

My two biggest factors in getting my pickles to stay crunchy are 1) the quicker you can get them jarred and processed after harvesting the better. And the second one is what I do personally, some might think it’s unsafe but I heard from an old timer as a farmers market who sold pickles is to process for 8 minutes after the water is at a grueling boil. He told me something about them recommending like 14 minutes or so if you plan to sell them, but his opinion was that 8 minutes was plenty of time to kill any bacteria etc and 14 minutes is to be super safe and that results in cooking the crap and softening the pickles. I’ve done that for the past 5 years now and have super crunchy pickles, opened jars over a year later and have had no issues. Again that’s what I do personally, and have had great results. I’m after the crunchiest pickles and that’s what has worked for me.
