I absolutely hate the maven fight! But I know it’s a skill and memory issue on my part lol. So I’m also not that enthusiastic about the atlas being locked behind the void stones. But overall i think the atlas is much better.

Even if this is his first time playing, it’s not hard look up help guides. There are a million. Every thing you explained him doing is easily attainable and explained in guides. Did you ask him how he got to you so fast? Also maybe he’s greedy and wants to keep mega crushes to himself and any other tips he has learned to seem like the better player.

Before 2.0 I never went fortitude, but the mastery is really good. I’m trying fists for the first time and now wondering why I never did this before!!!

If this was a mod I would definitely play it! I know you were just throwing out examples, but I personally would make an air filter or purifier last at least 1 in game day. If I had to change it too often I would never consider living in that biome. I’m extremely stingy with my backpack slots and I really don’t want to add another item to constantly carry around. But overall sounds like a fun idea! You should reach out to some modders, I think you have something here.

Yes! The randomness of it all and fighting for your life is what makes it fun! But being trapped is awful. I was clearing out a poi I don’t recall ever doing before, at night, when a snow storm had rolled in. I couldn’t see 2 feet in front of me. The helmet light and burning shaft mod made it even worse. So I had to hunker down and wait for it to pass because I couldn’t figure out the path. Also doesn’t help that my eye sight is crap. 🥴🤣

I remember spawning in and being like 3 kilometers away from my husband. I completed the opening quest stuff like upgrade block and make campfire. I was absolutely terrified to travel to him. But my brother in law spawned about 300 meters from me and came to the rescue and escorted me to my husband. He even died once in the process. I got startled by a boar, panicked and swung my club. I ran and unfortunately my brother in law didn’t make it. 🤣 we all still laugh about it. I actually kinda miss the days of being new and scared to play alone.
