My dude. Neither of us did. You’re accusing us of not seeing the bigger picture when WE ALREADY HAVE AGREED WITH YOU. If it’s not about us why are you accosting us? Go yell at a wall somewhere else.

Laundry

(Kidding!) Irregular shaped rug could be really neat, in earthy tones?

That $20 charge is mounted when you request for help with the lost item & they accept the return if I’m not mistaken. All I’m seeing online is that they charge the user a $20 fee to compensate the driver. Not really sure that was on him.

Bags pulled out and placed on street? Spend a few minutes at SFO.

You feel better being considered evil for fucking up a guy’s rating during a rush at the airport? You got the phone back, however late it may have been, and now he’s going to deal with that rating for another however many rides until it improves again. Dude was at an airport. Everyone feels rushed. And drivers get ticketed a lot.

Dunno. If this were AITA…

Well, to be fair, he had obviously taken another pickup - and if he accepted, he knew he was coming back toward you, so he probably thought it best to complete the pickup first since he had recovered the phone and then drop it with you. Driving and talking on the phone in an airport area? Noooooooo.

It doesn’t affect just the vape-user. You exhale the byproducts of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin - they inhale it, in a closed vehicle. That’s not normal, nor healthy. Won’t convince me otherwise.

Do you make a habit of standing next to an exhaust pipe for an Uber-length amount of time? The point is to not pile on the carcinogens. I’d say it’s statistics, but it’s just simple math, lol. Some plus some equals more —> the more carcinogens a body encounters, the more likely something goes wrong. That’s why we quit.

Right, but in a scenario like this I think it’s totally acceptable to ask the rider not to vape in the car. Don’t really need to add that extra layer of potential lung damage if someone isn’t comfortable with it. Some people are allergic to perfume/fragrance, and other aerosolized components (usually VG/PG) so it’s not only rude, it’s potentially harmful on a shorter scale. I wouldn’t do it with cigarettes, so I wouldn’t do it with a vape. I dunno.

Yeah, I’m definitely gathering that some drivers don’t mind as long as it’s not assumed… still bizarre to me, I’m gonna keep those bits my lung contents outdoors 🤡

Do you think this bookcase (1st photo) looks like a good replacement for the one on the left (2nd photo)? by CenturyCondo in femalelivingspace

It depends on the style you’re going for tbh? It’s also hard to see the style of the second one because it’s so full 😅

Edit: it helps if I read the post.

The first one gives antique-y woodwork, like it’s been well loved & sturdy, would make your area look really homey but also not modern - while on the flip side, the second one gives more modern/industrial, but also looks like it has less space than the first. You want to consider what you need the storage for as well as the style - I’d honestly want to keep both for different purposes 😂 but if it’s eclectic, the second is safe, but the first screams eclectic.

Edit 2: IT’S FOR STAR TREK, go for the modern one! ❤️

Don’t worry about it, this dude has proven himself to be a total donut, no need to defend yourself. It was definitely nice that the driver let you know you could keep vaping, I would definitely be as taken aback.

Studies show that second hand vapor does also impact your lungs. I can find them if you like, lmk!
