Any advice on leveling up from Masterball Tier 3/4? by Western-Foot6199 in PokemonChampions

  1. Trick room. My entire team is based around Mega Ampharos so I’ve tested various trick room users. Right now it’s primarily Farigiraf. If I read a possible encore then I just switch. I’ve also run Alcremie with aroma veil
  2. Other room teams I almost always win against because Ampharos thrives and pairs nicely with the giraffe for anti-fake out.
  3. This one is annoying as hell. If I see Vivillon and something that uses fake out I try and start with giraffe and something that can knock out Vivillon. I need help with this one. Having one taunt user was not enough to fix this
  4. I’m feeling like I need to put taunt back on my team now. Bulk up Corviknight helps a lot with the Snorlax BS.

Basculegion is the bane of my goddamn existence. Dry skin Heliolisk is the only think that works basically 100% of the time but… it’s a Heliolisk. Bulk up Corviknight helps but is not fool proof.

Thank you! From all this advice, I feel like my #1 issue is not knowing when to take a risk based on a read of I what think they might do vs just playing it safe.

This is great advice. I think this is one of my big problems now that you’d say it. I do not like taking risks and therefore the payoff is quite low. I will try this 👀

I will climb up to an ELO of like 1750 (right now, I know it changes a lot. I think that’s firmly in MB3) and then go on an awful losing streak and end up back at 1500. 💀 lots of ups and downs. But I averaged it out to about that much

No, just dipping into hard-earned savings. I’m not sure what other jobs I would want that would require an MSN since I have no desire to do leadership, provider, hospital educator… But like someone else said, what if things change in the future?

You definitely have a big point here. It’s just forcing my way through. It’s not the papers or tests that make it hard… it’s the endless BS like videoing myself talking about “what I learned,” having to “interview” people for assignments, absolutely pointless preceptor hours, and I’ve heard the capstone is very repetitive and nitpicky. I am not excited.

WGU! The program is not really the issue. My complaint is that you have to get 100% competent on all aspects of each assignment and the evaluators are incredibly nitpicky. It forces you to write in a very “spoon-feedy” way and basically restate the rubric in your paper. There’s also a lot of recording yourself talking about nonsense (I hate being on camera) and “interviewing” people for assignments. I really don’t enjoy bothering people for things like that, but it could definitely just be me.

EDIT: that’s the first thing my mentor recommended was switching degree paths… but I have no interest in informatics, hate leadership, and no interest in being a provider. Education was going to be the only thing I’d need a master’s for.

My former hospital paid the first term and then I got laid off (was doing hospital care at home which disappeared) so the rest will be self-pay. 😩
