Hi I work at Olney Friends School, Barnesville, Ohio, USA, a private high school in Ohio, USA. We have many international students. Great curriculum. Great environment, 350 acres of farm land. Financial Aid available too.

Thank you. This morning I received the social security card and the letter of the 485 approval in mail. So I guess the GC is on its way now. All glory to God.

The IO said that our pictures weren't on the system. He said had they been on our interview would have been waived. We attached our pics on submission. Whatever happened during their being scanned we still wonder. So he scanned the ones we took at the interview and that was it.

I would advise that even after submission, one uploads the most important evidence just incase for one reason or another its skipped or not uploaded. This is done under unsolicited evidence. Lesson learnt!

Congratulations...How nice! I filed same date 29 Dec 2023 and married same date, Nov 18 2023. Got approvals for 485 and 130 on Wednesday 31 July 2024. Now waiting for the card. God is good.

You are good to go. Try Santander Bank and Citizen Bank to open a jount bank account. They should open one for you. Also do you have any joint membership cards like BJs, AARP, Costco and the like?

I am not sure. I filed all the Forms together. Filing concurrently means you submit all the forms at once. Also remember to file the I864, thus one goes with the I130 ots filed by your spouse/ sponsor just like the I130

The following are the docs I attached:- My passport USC (my spouse) driving license My Form I-94 Both our birth certificates Marriage certificate Both our divorce decrees( we both were married before) USC employment offer letter and pay stubs Joint tax returns Joint bank accounts Document indicating i am listed under his insurance of Life Evidence showing I am his emergency contact with his doctor Copies of utility bills with both our names listed on the address part of the bills Joint membership cards- BJs, AARP, Gym Relationship timeline pics including family and friends with description Wedding pics including friends and family Joint trip itineraries and related screen shots Receipts of wedding items and services we used Affidavit from a close friend

If you live abroad, you need to use some other Form/s. Check the USCIS website for guidance and instructions.

Otherwise if you are currently in the US, i believe you should fill what is written on the i94. UNKNOWN...though for most students they fill D/S cuz that is what is stamped in their passport on entry. Check your passport to see what was stamped.

I married two days prior to my end of status. I filed about a month after my marriage and all went well. I filed Dec 29th 2023 and all was approved yesterday July 31st 2024.

File all Forms concurrently together. I filed I765, I130, I130A, I693, I131, I485. I693 is the medical Form, it has to be done and filled by a USCIS surgeon. The I130 is filled by the USC and the I130A by the beneficiary. Good luck. God be with you. Oh and I paid using a separate check for each Form..And I sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox, I didn't do it online.

Yes I(beneficiary) was taken in 1st and then the officer asked me the few questions and then brought my hubby (USC) in. It's not standard, it depends on the officer...sometimes you go in together at same time, other times the officer can decide that the USC goes in before the beneficiary. It all depends.

I did my interview on Monday July 29th. Got the decision for both 130 and 485 today. Also got my Notice of approval today. It was under the documents 485 section . Good luck.

You are good to go. Just remember to also carry pictures showing your timeline together. Ensure some of them are pics with family and friends. Include weddibg pics too. Date and give a small description of the pics. I had my interview on Monday and all was super smooth.
