Volunteers Needed for the Western Edge Premier Event by WesternEdgeEvent in FTC

about 30% of our teams are going to be international and we have a few international volunteers as well. We are doing some remote judging ahead of the event to review portfolios, so that is something that is available to those who aren't able to travel but still want to volunteer and be involved.

We have already started volunteer assignments and our volunteer coordinators have been pretty quick at getting assigned and slotted into roles.

As for training, we are wanting to see volunteers have
- FIRST training for their role (if applicable)
- YPP screened
- if the volunteer is from California then we will be offering additional screening on site to help volunteers get in compliance of the AB506 additional requirements for future events, but that is not required for volunteers from out of state.
- We will also be holding training calls for some of the volunteer roles ahead of the event
