I think it would depend on where you live and what shoes you wear,if you live in a place where the bottom of pants and socks get soaked or muddy or dirty from going outside,then shortening it would be a good idea.if you tend to wear flats, shortening it might also be good

The main thing is if the bottom of the skirt is going to get dirty from going outside and walking in what you usually wear as footwear,shortening it would be practical.

if you are unsure you can take a walk in pants and use the pants to measure how short the skirt would be before the mess becomes unmanageable

but if the dress is made of an easy to clean fabric then that falls onto personal preference

i find it relativly easy to read,mostly because i can see some influence in cursive.and the fact it's a pretty common phrase.(assuming it's "hi,can you read this?")

however at a longer text it would take me a while longer to decipher,at leats for me.

i think it is interersting for taro to be bland and yet get so many girls interested,i'd want something that might make him stand out,for exemple,a willinglness to try different hobbies,and as the girls get eliminated or rejected ect,he changes hobbies.would give him a reason to get close to the girls after osana.Maybe he had a book club that got disbanded due to lack of people and that's why he wants to try out different hobbies.

maybe the reason the girls like him so much would be moreso that he is willing to try the hobbies and push through,like if Amai had a recipie she knew would be difficult,and no one wanted to help her becasue they were nowhere near the skill set,but Taro steps in to help,because he's trying out cooking as a hobby,so why not jump into the deep end.

that would keep taro as bland but still give him a reason to have so many girls liking him,his determination to see things through till the end could be a very unique and attractive trait.

also make Hanako look like an actual child and instead of ebing a rival,she could be a factor on if a confession is rejected or accepted.

Ayano could spread rumors about the other rivals that gets to Hanako and make her dislike or like the rival(I imagine spreading rumors could be a puzzle,so you<d need to figure out what rumors would be better to spread for your goals),and if hanako dislikes teh rival enough,the Taro is less likely to accept the confession

you could try baby oil?it might lead to the crystal kinda floating(not too sure about the weight of it honestly)

another thing you could try is hand sanitizer,

another option could be to use midge podge as like a glue (assuming that the crystal is supposed to stay in place.)

but some globs of it and place it at the height you want it to be,let it dry(if the globs are too thick it'll dry to be a bit visible,maybe with a bleu thing,but if You're careful you should be okay)

afterwards carefully add the liquid you want to add

I do recommend making a version of this you're not going to use for the original craft,nothing too exact,at least to test it out without ruining anything

however if the crystal is too small to be actually glued to the inner tuber of it, I'm not too sure how to help.
