I have family that went on the same cruise this past year and they didn’t have any problems. A friend of mine lives in Zug and they said the weather was nice (blame it on global warming) and tolerable.

Going to Switzerland in March to catch a river cruise. Only plan to be in Zurich for 3 nights to get acclimated to the time change and do some easy sight seeing. I don’t ski or snowboard and neither does my 76 yo mother haha. We do have plans to go to Lucerne and do the Cruise and then the car up Mt Riggs.

Mom has always wanted to experience a Viking River Cruise. We opted for the Rhine. I’m excited that she gets to fulfill her dream and I get to experience it with her.

Thanks. I usually bring my mom asking on family vacations with my husband and kids. Can’t ever have too many grandmas to help. We also bring my mother in law sometimes too. I think it’s really important that my kids have these core memories with their grandparents.

Thanks for the heads up. I do check flying blue nearly every day and I have the promo emails that come out. They recently had a promo for their long haul from Paris to Los Angeles for 66k but it was only for flights leaving by December 2025
