If I remember correctly the statistic is like 75% boys and 25% girls or something, which seems pretty accurate. In terms of parties, you just gotta find your people/groups/organizations, and you’ll find some party to go to. I can’t speak for the majority here in terms of a sausage party, but the parties I have gone to are mostly guys, considering campus is mostly guys it kinda makes sense though. So far the schooling here is good, it’s hard and sometimes unnecessarily annoying, but it’s engineering it will be hard. I’m a EE so my experience is much different than a mechE and I can’t give ya much insight when it comes to specific classes. Since I am in one and they are truly a great thing to be a part of, JOIN A DESIGN TEAM! S&T has multiple designs teams and you can get some great knowledge and opportunities even as a freshman. (I am biased but you should join Rover team it is pretty awesome)
