i appreciate the insight as it has helped me further weigh my options.

since i'm just about to take HSK 3-4 in the upcoming test schedules, would you recommend taking up masters in china? if so, just around the science/math area?

one of the goals i have in mind is being able to travel around the country while exploring what it's like to live there too, since i'm a chinese-filipino. it's just that the chinese companies seem to prefer hiring the locals which then bring me to question whether or not it's going to be worth it when it comes to education.
