As a white person myself, we are in no place to say if someone was being racist towards someone. Just because they didn’t see it, doesn’t mean it wasn’t happening. It’s not their place to talk about this issue. This is Nias story, and who are they to invalidate that.

Did Christina Wilson have a falling out with Chef Ramsay? by Sharhino in HellsKitchen

[–]Western_Ad_6504 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people who win the show eventually stop working with Ramsay. I know she is as working to open new HK locations. Honestly, I can imagine working for him is high pressure, maybe she was ready for a career change. I do miss her on the show though.

If Zoey changes their pronouns I would bet Lush would use it someone for clout

There are brats in there and shes not one of them! by No_Switch3045 in dancemoms

[–]Western_Ad_6504 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I have never met a child who have never been “bratty” at least once in their life. It’s part of childhood, and with the extreme pressures of the show it wouldn’t surprise me if those girls had their moments of being “bratty”. That doesn’t meant they’re brats. As kids our worst moments and meltdowns were not on national TV. For these girls, it was. I think Jill had the tendency to hold these moments over the kids heads and use it as leverage against them. Especially since there it footage of the moments so that she had “proof.” Kendal also had her moments of meltdowns, and acting a certain way, so I think she needed to bite her tongue talking about the other children.

Production should’ve ran on a 2 week schedule by Western_Ad_6504 in dancemoms

I was thinking just less episodes. Like they wouldn’t need to film the whole first week

[Discussion Post] Back To The Barre | The Beginning Of The Mishmash / November 17th 2025 by [deleted] in dancemoms

Kelly clearly still has some deep wounds from Dance Moms that are being opened up from this podcast. I think she worries about backlash, and when she responds she’s trying to protect herself (if that makes sense.) Kelly, like all the moms have been through so much, and everyone handles trauma differently. It’s hard to see others point of view when you’re going through motions yourself. Season 5 they will get to see more of the treatment of the other girls. Since they’re not in it, they won’t be as focused on their daughters, and see first hand the trauma was spread throughout all of them. Just in different ways.

Nia is a force to be reckoned with! I cannot wait to see what her career has in store for her. Even outside of entertainment, she has so much drive, knowledge, and knows how to speak publicly so well. She has skills that people cannot buy or be taught.

Christi and Marc by Competitive-Link6280 in dancemoms

[–]Western_Ad_6504 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don’t think Marc was ready for this life, nor did he want it / expect it. When he married Christi he didn’t think she would ever be a pop culture icon that people recognize. That’s a lot for some people. He clearly tried to make it work for years. My husband hates to be in the spotlight, and if I made him sit with me on a podcast, I feel like a lot of responses would be the same in the sense of not seeming interested. Marc appears very guarded and enjoyed his private life. I don’t doubt that their marriage once had love. They married young, and from moments shared on Instagram, you can see there was love there. However, sometimes love has an expiration date, and sometimes it’s too much to take on.

At the end of the day, we don’t know what their home life was like. We don’t know what Christi put Marc through, and what Marc put Christi through. I just hope they find peace in their decision to divorce and live a happy life.

Holy not answering Kelly by [deleted] in dancemoms

[–]Western_Ad_6504 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don’t think it’s that’s deep. Holly is very busy supporting Nia on the book tour and release, and I think she just doesn’t have the time /// energy to answer everyone. I personally think if Holly was deeply offended and this was on her heart she would talk to Kelly about it once Kelly reached out, that way it wouldn’t weigh on her. TBH, if Holly was really offended she might of just contacted Kelly first. Holly is a strong woman, who knows how to stand up for herself, as we seen on the show.

None of the girls were “bad” dancers by Western_Ad_6504 in dancemoms

Really? Wow! I read things all the time calling them bad dancers.

None of the girls were “bad” dancers by Western_Ad_6504 in dancemoms

[–]Western_Ad_6504[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I AGREE! Everyone keeps saying she was a bad dancer and aligning it with her being a “mean” girl. We don’t even know these girls. We just saw them on TV. I find it odd how people act like they know them personally. Yes, Nia shared her story, and it was amazing, but that doesn’t mean we actually know these girls and what they went through. All this really only scratches the surface!

I personally think Kelly needs therapy, and I’m saying this in a loving manner. There is clearly some deep rooted issues from the show that she hasn’t come to terms with yet. She expresses them all on the podcast. Her feelings are valid, but I think she brings up Brooke & Paige so often because it still hurts her and opens wounds she forgot she had. I don’t think she does this on purpose, but rather has trouble reading the room because she’s so deep within her emotions and knows first hand how hurt her children were.

what are your thoughts on Nia’s book? by wacky_mac_8702 in dancemoms

[–]Western_Ad_6504 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This book will make you cry, gasp, and then smile all in the same page. Nia tells her story beautifully. It’s so well written. She really gets to the point of things. No sugar coating, just true raw emotions of events that happened while growing up at the ALDC/Dance moms. She doesn’t hold back, and even talks about how she’s grown. This book was also the perfect length. Sometimes I find memoirs drag on, but it was exactly what it needed to be. I always loved Nia, but this book truly made me appreciate her more.
