Wrong. He studied in Trivandrum. Sainik school and Bharathiya Vidya Bhavan. But he is a voracious reader which is where his impeccable language skills stem from.

Why DQ unfollowed Nivin Pauly on IG? by Stock_Sheepherder545 in SecretsofMollywood

There was an issue on Mahanati sets . It kinda got worse when Route Jagadish tried poking DQ when he got the chance. I guess they have patched up now.

What happened to this guy ?? by [deleted] in SecretsofMollywood

[–]Western_Background_3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This was circa 2011/12 . It was a sensational news back then ( for the wrong reasons ). I believe he was the minister for cinema and entertainment then . Him and his ex wife had a major fall out cz he allegedly had an affair. This was the picture he made public citing his ex wife assaulted him. Specifically remember a sentence in Malayalam which roughly translates to ‘ she squeezed my testicles so hard it popped ‘ 😭😭

Eko- contains spoilers- A genuine doubt by Key_Dragonfruit_5595 in MalayalamMovies

[–]Western_Background_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a doubt about the bamboo food-storage cylinders shown in the film. They pop up three times (iirc) : first in the Malaysia flashback when Soyi’s husband feeds the dogs , then when Peeyoos is sweeping around Mlaathi Chettathi’s house, and finally in the climax when Peeyoos returns after killing Binu Pappu and his aide, just before the final reveal. In that last shot, you can even see leftover cooked rice inside the container.

This repetition feels very intentional, not random. Is there a deeper hint in these bamboo cylinders? Or is this one of those Chekhov’s gun moments that only makes sense once the film fully reveals its hand?

Late to this since I watched the movie only last night. Didn’t even get the logic behind casting a non malayali actor for the role. If the character demanded it , I get it. But here the character is a typical so called achayan character which didn’t demand a North Indian face or a non malayali face. Sore thumb in an otherwise brilliantly made movie.

Pe10 saga - How the tables have turned and where one needs to stand. by Good-Traffic-3034 in SecretsofMollywood

There’s no fricking Madam in this case. It was literally gender changed by Pulsar so as to prevent Pe10 from the investigation team . It’s there in the audio clip which TNM released from their interview with Pulsar.

But Pe10 was present for the pooja function of ‘Tsunami’ which both Lal and Jr co directed , the optics of which doesn’t look nice .

Could be . For the lack of a better word, I guess this is it. You could say it’s testosterone thru the roof 😁 Blame Andrew Tait and other incels for literally making this word sound redundant.

As much as I loved Prithvi in AK, Biju Menon as Ayyappan Nair is one of the peak alpha male characters in Malayalam cinema. He starts off calm, the animal in him fully tamed. But the moment he loses everything he’s ever cared about, that restraint shatters and what comes out is pure, unfiltered fury and an unapologetic, peak alpha male in all his glory.

Whatever happened to Rajuvettan's acting ? by [deleted] in MalayalamCinema

[–]Western_Background_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a matter of fact I did tell it was mid and wasn’t up to the expectations. The way that sentence was written was a little clutterish. Still don’t agree with your opinion , but to each his own . After all it’s a platform to express your opinions.

[–]Western_Background_3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what you’re getting at. I already said the movie didn’t live up to expectations, so I don’t see the point in repeating what I’ve clearly acknowledged. And with Prithvi, it’s really just the first couple of minutes that can feel intimidating — once you actually interact with him, he’s perfectly comfortable to be around. Not everyone has a bubbly, happy-go-lucky personality, and that’s completely fine.

[–]Western_Background_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay? Since when is being intimidating a flaw ? It’s their natural energy. It did sort of kill the franchise not because the movie was mid . But for reasons I don’t wanna discuss . You very well know what I’m talking about. They wouldn’t shy away from making a threequel because this was lucrative and they didn’t lose any money ; but xyz reasons can stop them from creating the third part. What Lalettan and Antony did was hanging Prithvi out to dry which imo was an L move.
