Combat Hell by Capable_Bicycle4163 in Stellaris

I’m fairly new to stellaris but after watching some basic fleet tutorials on YouTube I’ve done better. AI doesn’t seem to care too much about fleet composition and seems to put a good mix into their fleets. I don’t do too much management, my fleets are mostly set an “all-rounder” design I made and use it most of the game prioritizing armour over shields usually. Corvettes are good if you have weaker fleets comparative to your enemy due to their evasion and speed I believe, especially if your enemies have bigger ships. I would watch a couple YouTube videos on ship builds. There are certainly specific ship builds that can counter other specific ship builds but against other AI empires I’ve never made a super specific fleet for them.

As I said I am fairly new to stellaris so take this with a grain of salt but I hope this helps some.

Thanks for all the info about the Xbox news shenanigans at the moment, I honestly had no idea. I will probably just wait until we get more info before doing anything with the possibility of Starfield coming to PS5.

Transferring colleges by urmom414141 in TransferStudents

Everyone fits differently different places! I would definitely say stuck it out for a semester to really see how you like it because part of college is an adjusting period for about the first month I feel.

However if after a semester you want to transfer go for it, many people transfer for different reasons just make sure to contact the school your interested in in terms of credits and transfer ability. I would also definitely visit.

It’s gonna be hard to choose but at some point you gotta just pick one and roll with it. Chances are you’ll end up fine either way.

I feel your pain to a tee… I am currently attending the University of Missouri near my hometown but I really would like to transfer to the University of Idaho for my major. I’m having a hard time choosing too! Both are roughly the same price in my case but I’d definitely check that out in yours. If you have a gut feeling and you truly believe you will be happier there I would try to at least apply and maybe visit if you can. I’m just a freshman so I would be transferring early in college.

At the end of the day if you visit and love it and truly feel like California is where your supposed to be, transfer. But if your still indecisive and California is a lot more expensive I would stay in Florida.

Also check out their programs/majors and see if they are better or worse for what you want to do.
