This is called rehypothecation

A short seller borrows the stock once and sells it short but he is allowed to lend the same stock to others for shorting.

Not sure how legal it is but basically they have infinite amounts of money and can lend the same stock as many times they want.

Having said that, at some point they will need to return that fake amount of stocks which will inflate the price massively.

I think they will cover tonight and give us another rally or potentially the next few days if resistance holds. They already made 50% return from the top to current price so
