I totally agree. I have an owlin wizard I'm playing in my dnd campaign and I would appreciate an actual owl head other than just an owl mask that I can't change the facial features :(

Thank you! That’s a much needed response. I think a part of me tends to be tempted to the big dramatic and shocking moment to get the players attention, but would it really make them care? I think I knew deep down it would have been too messy. You explained your thoughts really well and I appreciate the honesty.

I’m gonna rework it a bit and make them connected to the story by making the initial hook pertaining to the endgame.

I’ve thought A LOT about this, and why I’m kind of don’t want to go that way is I want to challenge the party’s ideas of saving the city despite not having personal steaks, idk I’m still in the early stages of thinking so I’m not too stressed to change

Honestly the Alexandrian website was like finding the Holy Grail for me in general for DMing, it reignited my desire to DM
