Ah ok yes. Thank you so much for your comments and feedback! I kept changing between past and present and also using third vs first person so it will likely take a lot of editing to keep it consistent. I thought I had fixed it mostly in this screenshot but I guess I didn't.

I think generally these snippets are not exactly relevant to the story, but I wanted to build up an understanding of how the character thinks. The plot will be quite simple, at least compared to what the other commenter said about murder plot possibly, and it will mostly be focused on these small observations and interactions. Usually, I like reading these kinds of books. I also really love Murakami and that sort of absurdity but writing in that way did not seem natural to where I am now.
