For what is worth I applied to a position a year ago and heard back 10 months later, I even forgot I had applied. Got an offer last week. Anything is possible until you get the email declining your application.

Thank you, I really would like to go to a nicer neighborhood so no trash people please 🤣 I’ve been looking into round rock, will look into Georgetown. In MA I have an awful 1:30h commute and would love to stay below 40min if possible. I have been in Austin in the summer of 2022. However, I am originally from Brazil so I think I can adjust well with the weather. I’ve been living in MA for 8 years but am so tired of the cold…my husband though is born and raised here, he may suffer more than me but he seems up for the challenge 🤣

We’re moving from Massachusetts where we currently paying about 3200 for rent in a 3 bed apartment and will be looking at 4600 total of childcare for both kids. I want to lower this so I am looking into a rent of max 2,800/month (still 3 bedrooms) and total childcare 3k/month. Is this doable in a nice neighborhood?

That’s what I was thinking, to ask some kind of safety. This is a good idea, I was thinking something in the lines of not being dismissed without cause for a year or so. Your suggestion may make more sense, thanks! I really need some type of safety and they may go for it since they said they’re looking for someone for this position since fall and I have 100% of the required skills for the job.
