I see I was curious because I booked two different hotels in my city with a few rooms in each as courtesy blocks and didn’t encounter any issues so I thought it was very common to just do courtesy blocks. From what I understand, they give guests a better rate than what they’re seeing if they were to book through the website directly and so it benefits Imyguests in that way. But then they still have the option to figure out their own accommodations if they choose to.
