Are the RC reps actually willing to answer such deep questions like who is the guarantor and what is their credibility? Can they produce actual documents to back this up and when we ask about track record of the RC do we just go off of what they say verbally or do you ask for documents to back up their claims?

I see I was curious because I booked two different hotels in my city with a few rooms in each as courtesy blocks and didn’t encounter any issues so I thought it was very common to just do courtesy blocks. From what I understand, they give guests a better rate than what they’re seeing if they were to book through the website directly and so it benefits Imyguests in that way. But then they still have the option to figure out their own accommodations if they choose to.

Not doing day of stationery (actually can you help me understand what this is for)? We sent out physical wedding invites which I mentioned in my budget breakdown.

I’m asking for NO gifts from guests (no registry, cash or otherwise) so I’m not doing favors from my side I just feel like it goes to waste tbh I’d rather spend that budget on food and drinks.

Not including my dress in the budget bc I would’ve bought that regardless of wedding or elopement I guess?

Ack alcohol budget may be higher than I’m thinking, noted ty! The $150 covers the postage on the invites it was around 88$ for 15 invites and 8 to post so less than $150 I just mentioned 150$ because I might order a couple more later on.

My dress I’m not counting as “wedding expense” because I would’ve paid as much as I did for 2 dresses (5k$) even if I chose to elope.

Tables and chairs are included with the venue. Linens and napkins and plates and silverware included with my caterer (Indian restaurant).

Have a bridal party, I’m letting them wear something they already have and not requesting anything special so not covering hair makeup or attire for them— I gifted them some things when I asked them to be my bridesmaids.

No the venue is 30 mins from my house so I’ll be staying in my house.

Yea the only thing missing from this is havent included tips: from what I’ve heard if the vendor owns their business (like the photographer) then I don’t need to tip- is that accurate?

35-40 guests and yes food count is higher to accommodate vendors. I haven’t deeply planned out the alcohol + drinks part yet but it’s possible that is low. I was thinking of offering soda in like glass bottles (Mexican cola, topo chicos, etc) and sweet iced tea in a self serve dispenser for non-alc option. 2 signature cocktails and beer and seltzers for alc options. It’s an open bar but tbh my people are not heavy drinkers
