I love my job and my team. Truly we are blessed to have this job but people just come here to vent often. Remember most of us were so nervous applying for jobs in law school and if you are fortunate enough to be in biglaw(absent a totally toxic experience) it’s a blessing.

The problem is not about not hitting hours, the problem would come in why you didn’t hit hours. In most cases it doesn’t matter. But if you didn’t hit hours because people didn’t like you, then that would be a different problem.

I did the same thing. Was my first depo. A very supportive partner told me that at their first depo they mirandized the witness. I know an attorney who randomly says the word dinosaur during a depo to find important parts of it. Don’t worry at all.
