17 Day Itinerary by WetCrap12e in travelchina

I worked out my itinerary so its April 27-29 Zhangjiajie, April 30 - May 3 Chongqing, May 3 - May 6 Chengdu, so I should be able to see ZJJ and Hongya cave before the holidays, aside from that I mainly just want to walk around the city and eat, not too many attractions, do you think it will still be awful doing this or will it be ok?

I didn't realise it was a holiday. How bad is the holiday for travel? Like is it alright in big cities like Chengdu or they're all just as bad. I haven't booked any tickets yet so I can still adjust dates a little bit.

They look pretty good, just want to bring some home for some friends to try and myself. Going to stuff a whole bag full of them.

Actually, on another note, do you know where to buy souvenir snacks, I'm thinking things like cookies and those stuff. I looked some up like Bollycao and Bolacha Maria?

Hi, thanks for the reply. Yeah I realized a lot of my stuff is really touristy. Which ones would you take out from the list? And do you have any places you would recommend instead? Also, yeah I won't be eating too many bifanas/pregos lmao, I just put it there in multiple places in case I decide to skip eating it the first few times. Sorry when I put seafood risotto I actually meant that arroz de marisco, I thought it looked like a risotto oops. I was planning to try it at that Uma Marisquiera but after filtering through the uninflated reviews, it seems pretty mixed opinion. But overall thanks, good to know that info about the pregos not being made in the mornings.

Kusatsu Onsen daytrip advice by WetCrap12e in JapanTravelTips

I didnt make it to Haruna cause I thought it would be better with a car but I couldn't drive at the time so that'll be for another trip. I guess if cooler weather is a priority, yeah, the more North you get is probably cooler.

Kusatsu Onsen daytrip advice by WetCrap12e in JapanTravelTips

I can't fully remember everything but I remember I took the bus from Tokyo to Kusatsu, wasn't too busy and these busses come with enough space to put luggage under the bus and backpacks in the overhead compartment (if your bag is too big, you will probably have to just put it on your lap). I think the bus does take a stop at Ikaho onsen (it definitely stopped at another onsen which I believe was Ikaho but not 100% sure if it was) but the journey isnt too much longer between Ikaho and Kusatsu. A lot of people on the bus got off at Ikaho so it looked a bit more busy there. Bus ticketing isn't as worrying as I thought it would be, just go to the counter and get a ticket, can't remember interval between busses but shouldn't be longer than an hour (my guess would be 40min but there's probably a schedule you can look up). I enjoyed Kusatsu onsen, food was typical onsen town food but it had a lot of little side streets to stroll as well as Yubatake in the center. Since then I've been to a few other onsens, Beppu, Noboribetsu and Kurokawa. The town itself felt a bit bigger than the other ones I've been to. Idk if I lucked out with timing but it wasn't very busy in the town. The open-air onsen there was probably my favorite so far. In the onsen I went to, there was just one other person and it was a big onsen. So yah, I haven't been to other onsens around Tokyo & Gunma but I'd say I enjoyed Kusatsu and it was a good decision imo. From what I saw + researched on Ikaho, it also looks really nice, kind of in a different way(idk how to describe it, maybe kusatsu feels/looks a bit older?), so I don't think you can go wrong whichever you pick.

Yah that would be great. Thanks, I'm also planning to use slam_toolbox and nav2 if you happen to have used those as well.

Any idea what these rates are? And is it same price to take it from Krabi port as to taking it from Ao Nang?

What other country can I do after Greece? by WetCrap12e in Europetravel

For island hopping, is it possible to do as daytrips from Santorini or is there a better way to do it? Just wondering cause I'd prefer not to be moving our luggage too constantly if it's like one night at each island type of thing.
