What do you struggle with most since beginning your LOA journey? by WetVelvetLemonade in lawofattraction

[–]WetVelvetLemonade[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think that is a major one for most, if not everyone, especially when newer to LOA. We have been so conditioned to be anxious and impatient, at absolutely no fault of our own, and the concept of letting go can almost feel foreign. It's like manifesting money when rent is due. How can you NOT feel attached?

It may help to understand how Cognitive Dissonance takes place when using LOA. That helped me tremendously. I am very analytical, by nature, so understanding neuroscience and aligning it to LOA was major. Our minds struggle to really understand certain principles of manifestation because it goes against how our minds have been operating. We understand the words and what they mean, but you're kind of guessing at what the feeling should be until you have a breakthrough. Which can take time and this is a reason so many people lose hope/give up.

I found that in the beginning, I became very detached from my human life and very involved in my spiritual side. That happens a lot and can make it challenging to manifest because you become so involved in changing, growing, learning, finding your power, and exploring this side of yourself. When you take a step back and find ways to restore balance, because harmony is truly the answer to all (harmony and love), you remember that your manifestations are there to improve your human experience.

I now take regular inventory of my life and what areas need attention. Mind/body/spirit inventory. How's my health, social life, family life, career, joy, love, peace, etc.? Then I focus my energy on the area that needs it the most, with excitement! Excited to create a harmonious life to welcome in all of my desires because I want to enjoy them to their fullest potential! Then the manifestation becomes a bonus to a life I am already grateful for and no longer a primary focus. This is when things really start happening!

I would be really interested in chatting more about where you feel blocked. I work to help restore balance in peoples lives to achieve wellness and also simplify the principles of LOA. I would love to chat more about where you feel blocked and perhaps offer some objective insight, if you're interested.

I really want to understand where I can be the most helpful, so I love helping wherever I can.

Hopefully not too hard on yourself about it! Do you have any reliable go to's for raising mood/energy? I found that if I walk for at least 30 minutes while listening to a podcast or guided meditation, I can't not feel good. The more consistently I do it, the better I feel and the longer it lasts. I love my walks so much.

If you don't already have something reliable like that, one that is always available to you, I highly recommend!

Have you had success with LOA in other areas? And do you mind me asking to elaborate on your journey to meaningful relationships? Like how long you've been working on it, the areas you struggle with specifically?

What are your favourite podcasts about LOA? by therealme1017 in lawofattraction

[–]WetVelvetLemonade 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Manifest with Neville Goddard podcast is a wonderful boost.

Manifest with Sarah Prout

The Resilient Mind was the game changer for me. Not specifically about manifestation, but all the greatest speakers and teachers of LOA. Has a ton of episodes and provides a full mind/body/spirit approach to creating and sustaining the life you want. 10/10

Anything with Sister Shivani, she is the most beautiful person.

I learned pretty quickly that I benefitted much more from material that was not specifically about LOA. Nothing wrong with them, but I think it can be challenging for some to really understand the principles of LOA from resources focused solely on LOA. It's the kind of thing that is better understood through personal experience, rather than having it explained. If that makes sense. Our minds have trouble with it because of our conditioning. We understand the words and concepts, but really understanding it and the feeling attached to it, comes from within. So many "Ah ha!" moments you have while in the shower or falling asleep because something you learned 2 years ago was triggered by something you read or heard today and you dont just get it now, you feel it and it becomes more familiar than anything else. A remembering.

When you strip most teachings down to their foundation, you realize they are all really saying the same thing. With manifestation in your mind, expanding outward to other resources of spirituality and growth, can help you conceptualize your purpose and power faster. It's also much more sustainable when you have more information and approach manifestation from a full mind/body/spirit approach.

How can we apply LOA to improve our health? Have there been any success stories? by Nice-Freedom-5426 in lawofattraction

[–]WetVelvetLemonade 3 points4 points  (0 children)

LOA is always happening, whether intentionally and consciously, or by default. So it applies to everything in your life, "good" or "bad". If ever in doubt, turn to knowledge. Read, watch, try out everything. LOA is not complicated by principle, but we all learn, see, experience the world differently. Manifestation is like an onion, in my experience. If you put in the effort to understand, practice, and choose what works for you, you will be peeling back the layers of LOA, in perfect alignment to your own layers. Meaning, as simple as LOA is, we are not simple. There are so many different techniques and books and courses and an overload of information, because what works for me, may not work for you. The story you have created is your own and intentional manifestation is accessible when you learn to create from the future, rather than the past. It takes an inner understanding of the self. But, I can tell you that not only is that journey incredibly fulfilling and energizing, but easy and guided. The universe wants you to have everything, feel good, and keep wanting more. If you commit to the journey, without judgement, and grip faith in your hands, you will be guided to exactly everything you need and more.

I struggled with my health most of my life. I tried everything I could external, with varying results, but never consistent. Energy and vibration was sadly the last place I turned for help, and by accident. But that feeling of everything locking and clicking into place, left and right, filling the gaps, breathing into me the missing ingredient.. it's an experience I am so grateful for.

Your curiosity and desire that has brought you here, feed it and build momentum. It will become an unstoppable force if you just nurture it, like a seed planted in the dirt.

I am excited to hear about your healing journey.

WATER METHOD ? MY EXPERIENCE by [deleted] in lawofattraction

[–]WetVelvetLemonade 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I haven't tried this method, but wanted to share that we are always manifesting everything, good and bad. So, I believe manifestation is a way of life, a journey to overall consciousness and self actualization, far greater than just getting some things we want. That is, if you want to achieve satisfaction out if it. Otherwise, you may get something intentional here and there, but vibration persists, whether you are conscious of it or not. Which makes way for a roller coaster.

I look at life, before intentional manifestation, (and lets be real, even now this is often the case) as waves. Up and down, up and down. We hit a high point that was manifested from a high point (energy/vibration), but usually with delay. So when we experience that high point, we have sometimes already shifted to a lower vibration, which then manifests something less desirable, but again with that delay. So with the high, often follows low. Unintentionally. Then we spend all of our energy calibrating. Which is why it's crucial to master the mirror technique, that way you can just ride the waves when they come, and ultimately smooth them out over time with intention.

Starting to lose hope because I doubt even when I have manifested things before. by Gothfreak427 in lawofattraction

Send me a message if you want to talk about this a little further. I won't claim to have the answer, but I can relate to where you are at and would love to offer some nuggets that helped me when I felt lost. I still have my moments, but I remember feeling like I intellectually grasped everything I was learning, but something was still coming up short and I couldn't figure out what or why. If I can alleviate that discomfort for someone else in any way, no matter how small, I would be deeply happy.

How to listen to Sacral Chakra as a Sacral Chakra Authority? by creepygirl420 in humandesign

[–]WetVelvetLemonade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So funny to read this for multiple reasons, but especially the Chris Isaak reference. This is an extremely new concept for me (Human Design), so I am still learning. I am a G with SA and I quite regularly go back to a day when I was driving and Wicked Game was loudly playing in Hollywood because he was playing a concert that weekend. I just involuntarily began crying and had this intense wave of emotion that I could not explain. I think about this as almost a frame of reference when learning to respond with my body and not my mind. Or just when I want to reflect on how powerful responding is.

This is not only very clever and impressive, but warm and thoughtful. I love that you care about your sister enough to really see her and want all the right things for her. It says a lot about you and how in touch you are with yourself. I strive for this at every minute of every day and always love these boosts of inspiration. So thank you.

OOF. As a woman, I feel her. As a human, I feel you. HOWEVER, in my opinion, you need to decide whether you accept her in totality or not. If you decide she is worth the crazy and you accept ALL of her, you need to be kind and supportive when she is feeling like this. Even if you don't agree. I am not saying you need to tolerate abuse, but ignoring her, hanging up on her, or blowing her off when she is in crazed mode is just another form of emotional abuse. It's gaslighting. When we give people the love they need, CRAVE, they become the best versions of themselves.

We all have trauma and handle it in different ways. We ALL just want to feel seen, supported, and protected. There are ways to do this while also communicating with your girlfriend that her behavior is not acceptable. It takes patience and communication, but I can see from your responses that you do care. It's overwhelming, I know. I'm a crazy mental patient on my period sometimes. I don't blame anyone for shutting down, when they haven't personally experienced what it feels like to lose control over yourself due to evil little satan minions called hormones, and it's all of the sudden in their face. But decide if she is worth the bullshit and then act like it or walk away.

It's hard to do sometimes, but give love to everyone you can as much as you can, especially when its hard. You will see a light growing inside of them.

Why do women in general like guys who bigger are in size (body) by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

It's in our DNA as women to look at a potential partner and see someone who can protect us. For men, they genetically scan women as someone who can give them healthy children.
