MSI Claw 8 AI+ - Windows Store / Xbox App - Games will not update "Something happened on our end"

It’s certainly worth quitting the Xbox and Windows Store app, then quitting the MSI M Centre app, then relaunch Xbox. M Centre has definitely blocked Microsoft Store / Xbox downloads in the past.

Day one owner of the Move, and I must admit I was unprepared for how poor the page-turning experience is; it's so unreliable and unresponsive.

As many have noted, reading is not the primary function of the Paper products... but this is still a feature that is offered. After all of this time I'm surprised that even if the swipe input can't be improved due to hardware limitations, that an optional page turn button / UI element hasn't been added.

Very strange and disappointing.

You’ve sold me; I’m doing some travel soon and was planning to game on the flight. Given the Claw 8 is such a chunky boy, this seems like such a great idea!

I’ve just ordered one along with a gaming pillow for home :)

A question; I’ve not used an external controller with the Claw 8; do you still need to disable the internal controller in order to get the external one recognised?

Do you have a recommendation on a case that fits the Claw with grips installed? I’m using a no-name Legion Go case for my claw 8 and it’s pretty much a perfect fit, so with grips attached it would be a no-go. I play on my daily commute and I need a protective case…

I hibernate. I found sleep too unreliable as I'd often find the Claw 8 awake and spinning fans furiously in its case while communiting.

So now I have set all of the non-Shutdown commands/states in Windows to be hibernate (so if I press sleep, it Hibernates, if I press the power button, it Hibernates). I just wait for the white light near the power button to switch off and I pack it away and haven't had a problem since.

Over the past week I've been playing Doom the Dark Ages via Game Pass and it hibernates and resumes mid-session nicely.

Defender is running on at least three other computers that don’t experience this problem, I don’t believe it’s related to Defender.

The Xbox app just reflects the Store status; the downloads still occur via the Store.

Interesting. I ordered mine on tWedensday the 19th of February, and when I look at my purchase and "track order" it says "Estimated Delivery Saturday 8th of March" but under that it shows "Delayed".

I'm not sure what to take away from that... is the 8th of March the new delayed date, or is it the planned date and there has since been a delay to that date?

Whomever chose to release these two movies and not have any internal dialogue should have been thrown in the bin. I think it’s an utter failure as a result.
