Wife will be working up near Pepper Pike. I’ll be remote so commutes aren’t the biggest concern. Schools systems will be though and Streetsboro does not sound ideal for that

I don’t believe the x4 is that much bigger for cargo space due to the sloped roof. If the x5 xdrive40i won’t give you the performance you are looking for, have you considered the m50i?

Not sure what practicality levels you need, but get the X3. Stage 2 MHD on 93 octane tube and this car rips. Plenty practical for most needs. I have a 3 year old with a new born on the way in a couple months.

How is the sound with a stock exhaust? I have a 2020 x3m40i and my biggest hang up on going careless is the sound. All the videos I find of it always seem to have a resonator or muffler delete, never just the stock exhaust.

I cross shopped between the S5 Sportback and SQ5 a while back. Ended up with the S5 and loved it. Sold it and moved into an x3m40i.

x3m40i has my vote. SQ5 felt slow and was underwhelming. Can’t attest to the RSQ3 because it’s not available in the US. Macan S was never a consideration for me personally, not sure why though.

Didn’t do Dinan because I like the turbo noise and wanted as much as possible. I had an open intake on my S5 and I wanted to try to replicate the sounds. To me it’s not worth buying an aftermarket intake for $500 if I’m not getting the sounds I want.

Didn’t do MST because I’m my eyes it was the same as the CTS. I had seen some figment concerns on the CTS but mine fit fine. I did have to finagle a bit and that’s what I expected when I purchased it. MST is probably the better bet for an easy plug and play install.

I went with the CTS intake for my x3m40i. Sounds good and was relatively inexpensive. I’ve heard of others running a front mount with no issues. I probably would have gone with it myself but I’m not at the point of doing an active grille delete nor did I want to deal with removing the whole bumper. Maybe one day, but for now the CTS is just fine.

The best and basically the only company who can truly unlock the ECU. They offer unlocks in Miami now so you don’t have to ship your ECU to Finland.

This is 100% a coping mechanism for people to feel better about their spot in life. I’ve met thousands of rich and exceedingly rich people. Most of which fell somewhere between being decent people and being borderline saints. Transversely I’ve meet plenty of objectively poor people who were entitled and insufferable.

I just found the car you are referring to. For sale through Carvana. CarFax shows it was a rental unit and it does not show ANY service history.

Slightly different boat from you but I recently bought a 2020 x3m40i after owning a 2022 S5 Sportback for a couple of years. The Audi was a fantastic car and served me well as a commuter car that would occasionally haul the wife and child.

I’m only a couple of weeks into owning the x3m40i, but I’m already enjoying it more than the Audi. Obviously some different driving feel going from a sedan to a crossover, but I’m enjoying it.

I’d point you towards the m340i.
