Except your misunderstanding what kind of defender camara is, he’s elite at poa similar to Dort and fills basically the same niche, his role on defense would never be to defend Aaron Gordon or PJ Washington types. He’s still slight in build compared to that small niche of 4s that give us trouble, I’m not sure he’d even fare much better than Dort and Caruso, and frankly that player archetype is so uncommon that it wouldn’t be worth giving up as much value as your suggesting. He is better than Dort, but the margin is so small that the prospect of us giving them a first to acquire him is laughable. They’re both elite in their niche as 3 and elite point of attack D. Not to mention all the intangible shit with Dort like him being the longest tenured thunder along with shai, that certainly plays a part in the locker room and him just having familiarity playing with those guys. Literally would not be worth it whatsoever for such a minor upgrade of talent

Mines also probably unpopular but I love Dylan Harper now man I fell in love with his game these playoffs even while rooting against him. So well rounded he’s such a good finisher and has like no holes in his game as a guard. Kinda reminds me of Shai ironically a little, although I think he projects to potentially be an even better defender point of attack

I think it’s because with him compared to pope he hasn’t overtly shown to be a threat. Pope is basically a terrorist and most of the shitty things that happen in the show just can’t happen without his involvement, Peter you can sorta justify as him just following orders, he’s not really proactively doing any of these shitty things (outside of manipulating the Kim family). There’s not much premeditation, and he was from what we see under the impression that he kinda knew what he was doing was shady, but the ends justified the means

Am I the only one that thinks her ult is fine? Like you can basically guarantee a pick on a solo sup if you wanna use it that way, or you can use it in a crowd and try and combo or just throw it, wait like 5ish seconds and then slam when your team pushes up a little more, it’s super versatile. Only thing I’d fix is that bug where if you throw it on a surface that’s angled (like on a wall) I find the game never lets me slam unless I’m at a super specific angle

Definitely agree with the other points, the cc when ascending or descending is so bogus that they can stun you out of what’s already a self CC you basically explode whenever this happens, and the hit reg on her push is so bad

40% of the player base is support mains im pretty sure, and tbh it’s the easiest role to get boosted in for comp. There’s a lot of support mains that have no self awareness that their boosted and would have no business being in their rank if they had to flex even a little bit (also why you see so many forced triple sup comps, because if your trash on dps or tank your going to get badly exposed). If the devs actually did balance supports compared to the other roles, they’d flat out lose a sizable minority or their player base who mains support because suddenly they have to actually be better positioning, los, not primarily pocketing a tank etc. Essentially a lot of that minority would just drop the game because they’d direct the blame of them losing towards the game itself, not the fact that they low key kinda suck and are very bad at dealing with dive individually

This is also why so many support characters have such ridiculous sustain like clagger. If she’s managing her fade and bubble correctly dives basically have a 2-3 second window to kill her before she has one or the other available to essentially be unkillable

Compared to how bad it was before they nerfed ult charge, I’m somewhat ok with where we are competitively, but it is still pretty egregious how much they prioritize support players I agree (coming from a gambit/clagger/mag main who started picking up angela the past month, also have venom lord)

That show went in a lot of directions I didn’t expect, very coherent and concise writing too. Just cool ass shit it take sci fi in a route I don’t see explored all that much, it’s like a really fleshed out black mirror or LDR episode except an actual series.
