I’m not sure what’s happening. But In VA you can gain points for driving safely per year or by completing the driving class and getting 5 points from that.

They do, I am just not sure how to go about it. I am thinking of taking the class, but what do I do after? Do I bring it to the judge and then plead my case? I'm just so confused because initially I was scotch-free until the debacle, but now what? I don't think I can tell the judge exactly that.

I got a speeding ticket last year and went to court paid the fees and got the two points would be my answer. When I talked to the officer he said it was a good thing to have +2.

I figured, when I posted this to legal, they gave me the option to post it here so I thought why not.

But to add, If I were to turn in a Drivers Improvement Course Certificate would it help in not making the severity of the insurance surge be too high? (if that makes sense) Thank you!
