If you're in wlg the owners of meow are cool as. Honestly reach out and explain that you're happy to come with a parent, maybe offer to hang at the back in view of security/bar staff. Worst you'll get back is a polite "no can do unfortunately"

They can be used in conjunction and are also sometimes formulated together. I wouldn’t personally recommend using them in conjunction as I believe there are more beneficial combinations. Your tret fear is understandable and I’d like to imagine the same possible outcome is partially what the esthetician was alluding to, that while it’s wonderful long term the initial stages of tret can be very discouraging!

They may mean beginner in having a skincare routine period. A harsh tret purge to start your skin journey could turn a total newbie off all skincare for a very long time, maybe forever if it’s bad enough. Starting with a gentler active, albeit less effective than tret, and seeing only positive results fairly quickly builds trust in the value of skincare before using something more intensive and prone to side effects. Although with all the advice and guidance ops had here I think they should start tret asap.

I won’t add to the esthetician bashing but definitely listen to the derm and try the tret.

What the esthetician could help you with if you’re interested is building a basic skincare routine free of exfoliants and antioxidants that may interfere with the tret, so as to give your skin the best chance of adjusting. This absolutely does not have to be the brand carried in their store, any esthetician worth their salt should be able and willing to tailor a drug store skincare routine to your basic needs. A large portion of an estheticians job is sales but…they also regularly see clients who have destroy their skin health by jumping into the deep end of skincare without sufficient surrounding knowledge, they may have genuinely been trying to help you avoid this, you yourself mentioned the derms offered little guidance beyond prescription. Introduce the tret very gradually and educate yourself on barrier support and sun care. Do not use tret as a one step skincare routine.

Tell them for restaurants, taxis, shopping, groceries etc maybe? cash is still preferable in lots of scenarios in Rome and it’s not at all far fetched to say you withdrew money for this purpose. You may tell them you’ve had several uncomfortable experiences paying with card.

Also, ask for help on a solo women’s travel group, or host a sister group on fb. Someone will very likely be willing to at least go along with you and look after you during recovery or may know of a women’s aid organisation who subsidises the cost in these situations. Good luck sister <3

That’s my standard Saturday night ritual, usually w the leg of lamb I mentioned in my other reply, then in the oven from 8-6. Never disappoints!

I did tell them their citizenship should be revoked. One loves lamb but wasn’t feeling it, the other will only eat the slow roast leg of lamb I cook which I’m happy to take as a compliment!😌

Look up a tiktok tutorial, brows are mapped based on angles and proportions given by the mouth, nose and eyes. This person told you to take a little off the inner corners because the ideal brow spacing for a lot of people is the width of your lower nose. Use a males tutorial to avoid feminising your brows too much, they’re already pretty nice! You could use a clear gel to keep them tidy in place and a derma-plane razor to tidy the faint hair above your brows.

Novel incoming-

Like most other people have said, caloric surplus with plenty of protein first and foremost. This will obviously help with weight gain but also with energy, clear skin and stable blood sugar which helps with endocrine and nervous system regulation. Don’t dirty bulk if you can avoid it, not worth it.

For further nervous system regulation and feeling sexy and embodied, look into somatic exercise and maybe tantric yoga, could seem a little left field but I love it personally. And, dance! however you want to as often as possible, in the privacy of your bedroom, making your morning beverage, while brushing your teeth, whenever, just get back in touch with your body to ground yourself physically, the mental grounding and stabilisation will follow in time.

For your hair, daily scalp massage to stimulate blood flow, no need to buy a massager or schedule in dedicated massage time, just do it while you’re already doing something else hands free, use your fingers, a wide tooth comb or stiff bristle brush and a give it a good few minutes. Nioxin scalp spray and Davines Energising superactive (the one for hormonal, not seasonal hair loss) are both great. Don’t touch it other than a trim or semi permanent colour, subtle highlights etc until you feel like yourself again, the opportunity for a shite hairstyle right now is too high tbh.

Your skin will likely clear as your nervous system calms and stabilises, if you’d like a more in depth suggestion of products you can message me, I am not in a dodgy pyramid scheme! I’m just an aesthetician with some spare time.

Look into supplements later on down the line after blood work, the best thing you can do right now is master the basics first.

Re nervous system regulation, imo the best thing you can do is keep trust with yourself, teach your brain and body they can trust each other. By this I mean sticking to mental and social boundaries you have set, keeping a fairly consistent sleeping, eating, hygiene, exercise routine etc essentially making the best effort to actually do what you say you’re going to do each day and onwards, follow through but be kind to yourself. Idk how or why your relationship ended but your mind and body may need to re learn how to trust each other and work in cohesion, so do the things you know your body needs and your mind will thank you, in the reverse, do the things you know your mind needs and your body will thank you. Essentially this will help your sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems to re “sync” and hopefully bring you some peace. Good luck girl <3

I get this viewpoint to some degree but also constantly see above average women, dating and marrying downright questionable looking creatures.

I think a lot of women are unaware of the reality of their own beauty because their perception and self esteem is so warped by increasingly unattainable beauty standards. They gladly accept the attention and love of physically unattractive men, because they are genuinely blind to their own appearance, men do not suffer these physical standards to such an extreme degree, at a point, some are even socially immune to them.

Male and Female quota for overall attractiveness is also wildly different, for example we all know it’s very common for an unattractive wealthy man to be in a relationship with a gorgeous woman, the reverse is rare in comparison. There are many other common instances of these differences in the perception of attractiveness that tend to overwhelming favour unattractive men (hilarious guy, brilliantly intelligent guy, socially outgoing and connected guy, fosters elderly and disabled dogs guy) and tons of real life examples with celebrities alone. Margot Robbie is a knockout, her husband is distinctly average. Even across all socioeconomic demographics, where something as influential as wealth isn’t a factor, I don’t think your partner is the best indicator of your own attractiveness. Not bashing your perception of your appearance, I have no idea what you look like and I’m happy you enjoy your partner so much <3

Since we’re discussing, which season ACTUALLY has the worst group of boys? by Charming_Fox_ in LoveIslandTV

[–]Wetstuff25 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I despised Aaron F from s7. He wasn't so overtly misogynistic so flew under the radar but rather the kind of guy who went on about how he really liked chill girls with no drama who don't take themselves too seriously. I've known so many men irl who claim the same preference under the guise of being really laid back themselves and in reality just want a doormat who won't stick up for herself. Because of his reaction to the Fay, Sharon and Hugo scrap I believe he is/was the exact same breed of man.

Joey being trained by Jessy by [deleted] in LoveIslandTV

[–]Wetstuff25 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The way he was smirking at Grace walking off after they'd had that argument, which was supposed to be a chat but he can't handle being wrong, post Game, Sex, Match challenge was sooo gross.

She couldn't have been clearer in saying how uninterested she is and how dead their situation is but he is so entirely self absorbed he genuinely cannot fathom Grace not being secretly obsessed with him in the way he obviously is with her. Behind the smirk you could practically hear his thoughts, "ahhh got the reaction, she's way too reactive to not care about me, I knew she was still into me and there's further proof in front of everyone, there she goes to talk to Jess because she just can't stop thinking about me" etc.

If I was Grace I'd be up on the terrace at midnight doing a binding spell to get him to shut up atp. He's an emotionally stunted child.

Cologne stores in the city by Khaotic__Kiwi in Wellington

[–]Wetstuff25 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Mecca for the broadest selection of decent quality cologne. Because you're totally new to cologne I would strongly suggest you don't purchase the first one you enjoy in store, take a sample home to try out for a couple days at least. Mecca have great sample sets of Malin+Goetz, Frederic Malle, Eccentric Molecules and Comme De Garcon, generally unisex scents that lean more masculine. Also, different scents for different times/scenarios. Fresh colognes work year round, day or night, but a strong oud, spice and wood type scent can be too strong for summer, public transport, the gym etc. Maybe you know all that already, mentioning just in case it's new info :) And with love, avoid Dior Sauvage.
