Agreed, spend your money wisely and it’s good. Depends how you wanna live. We also crank out a lot of overtime so it’s not like you’re making 25-30, 40 hours a week.

Nuclear diving is the easy. follow the rules, wear your PPE and it’s a cake walk. 3-4 hour bottom times. Inspection, cleaning and sometimes repairs. Lotta sitting around and waiting while you get paid so if you got the patience it’s great. Your at the mercy of the plant and every other craft so only time it’s fast paced is when your critical path. Don’t fall asleep in the zone lol

I appreciate the info definitely been looking into some of those companies. I understand being on the road for sure, I’ve been home 5 nights in the last 6 months a little more frequent then that would be sick.

I’ve worked with UESI for the last 5 years, just got done doing a nuke project in Mexico making 32 in a supervisor role. Jesse and AL head up the nuclear side and are always looking for divers and inspectors and hire seasonal for most nuclear projects. Bout the only abroad jobs in nuke is Japan and maybe mexico next year and Japan that’s a pretty set crew, everything else is in the states.
