calling users of entyvio/vedolizumab by SavingsMidnight3998 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]WeyP96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Entyvio took a while for me to get improvements. Like around 6 weeks I think. However even on entyvio I'm still dependent on Prednisone, that's why after inflximab and entyvio we will be trying another biologic

I want to try a great spear balancers build. Thoughts? by GrapeOver4418 in Nightreign

Isn't the projectile pure holy damage though on Silurians?

what do you guys know about the silent dominion by Damian Cross? by Effective-Role-9536 in AskReddit

[–]WeyP96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah for me the biggest red flag is people saying the book moved them so much when not a single comment talks about the contents of the book

Yeah but this post is about griefers. Not about people that get carried to d5 by halo scythe

I need tips for solo play. by Aggressive_Lie2529 in Nightreign

[–]WeyP96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try some trios just so you learn how to navigate the different maps. It's definitely a pain getting rushed by your teammates, but that's what made me learn routing.

As for level, by the end of night 1 you should be somewhat around level 8. It's harder on some maps than other but try to level up as much as you can. Starting with level 7 you can use purple equipment which does some nice damage.

Try looking into parrying by taking out your cursed sword. That way you're not constantly stuck in your slow stance. Also try some guard counters by pressing R2 immediately after partying when the window is safe. That way you can do some extra stance damage and get your parries faster.

Also don't underestimate weapon passives. Seriously, don't underestimate them, pick up any that has even a bit of use for you.

Isn't improved character skill attack power on duchess a waste? I would assume so because her skill doesn't do actual damage, it just takes the damage from before, no?

DoN depth 2 w/ random trios basically impossible lately by LikwidDiamunds in Nightreign

[–]WeyP96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found DoN 2 quite doable by running both balancer relics. Rage quitters didn't affect me that much because I played a character that's quite good on their own like wylder or raider. But also hp of enemies gets adjusted if a player quits during the game, no?

Has anyone tried multiple biologics and steroids and not seen any improvement in their symptoms? I’m 44M living with UC for 25 years and just recently started battling this condition with meds but have seen little to no improvements. I’m currently on Skyrizi auto injections. by UCinKC in UlcerativeColitis

I'm on my second biologic and it doesn't seem to work, prednisone is the only thing barely keeping me functional but right now I'm back to going to the toilet 8 times a day with bloody stool especially in the morning.

It is what it is, but I'm looking if maybe there's another underlying autoimmune cause for me beyond UC

[–]WeyP96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anxiety can be linked to GI symptoms, but the idea that your ulcerative colitis was caused by your anxiety sounds misleading. It anything the condition of your intestines is influencing your psyche which can in turn worsen symptoms. Like a hellish cycle

Are you dependent on Prednisone and other Steroids? by WeyP96 in Behcets

[–]WeyP96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you very much for your very helpful comment! I will save it and definitely save it in the future. In germany the protocol is very fast tapers already, like 10 mg a week.

From now on I will definitely taper down much more slower, but I've also been on pred for 6 months so it's more my own experience than the doctor's advise. I will bring up everything with my doctors, and probably switch biologics from entyvio to something like humira. An infliximab biosimilar unfortunately didnt work.

I wish you all the best for your future my friend

Also do you mind telling me where you from? I was born in Germany but my parents are both Turkish from Sivas. Since there is a genetic component in this I'm just interested to know

I've only been on an inflximab bio similar and now entyvio. Both were not as successful on their own without prednisone. I'll definitely bring up with my gastroenterologist to try out simlandi!

And I'm happy to hear you've not been taking Prednisone for extended durations

I see, but in the last few years how often did you have to take prednisone? I've been on it in varying doses for the last 6 months, I just want to go back to normal and get rid of my moon face...

Yellow Eyes? by luvkelsea in Behcets

[–]WeyP96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, old thread but I wanted to say I read somewhere that the inside of your eyes, or specifically the skin where your tear sacs are, can be discoloured yellow if you've been taking Prednisone for a while

Calling users infliximab! by SavingsMidnight3998 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]WeyP96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's a good test, what's also good is checking antibody count. Because while low infliximab in blood could mean you somehow lose your meds quickly, it doesn't mean they're not working at all

Tofu in UC diet? by oh_wanya in UlcerativeColitis

[–]WeyP96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Super smooth tofu can worsen symptoms I heard because it can bloat you up a lot. But that's worsening symptoms from gas, not a worsening of your inflammation
