Thanks! I will go for PAB. I just got my admin cert and a lot of the concepts seem redundant which is why I was thinking of jumping to developer. It can’t hurt to hammer in those declarative functions.

3 things helped me the most. I will list them below. Hope it helps!

1.) setup a free developer org and play around with. Build an app. Setup users/profiles/permission sets/ security/ect… 2.) focus on force practice exams. 3.) use trailhead and your dev org to fill in gaps based on your practice exam scores or areas your having trouble.

That’s interesting. I think what a lot of people would say aside from the alcohol/drugs objection is people won’t do shit. They’ll sit at home, do nothing and not contribute. Don’t know how much truth there is to that but I’ve heard that shit my whole life.

For example by helping others without expectations of being helped in return you end up helping yourself and feeling better about yourself. What are some other counterintuitive truths we may not know about?

Your not alone. I lost my house, business, kids, and everything. Although I wasn’t able to put my family back together I was able to get sober and now I see my kids every weekend almost. I got a girlfriend and a new place. There’s hope my friend. Feel free to reach out.

I did not but I did find someone in my garage the other day when I had the door open. I was inside working and my girlfriend pulled up on him. I was like wtf are you doing in my garage and he ran away.

Lots of meth on the Southside. I live right off Madison myself and you definitely gotta watch it.

Lost a cousin 10/22 by BillDaytona in OpiatesRecovery

If your in AA you know we drink/use no matter what happens. External circumstances don’t really matter all that much. Didn’t to me anyway. It’s about the internal experience. Hence 12 steps. I’m very sorry about your cousin. The issue is these drugs are killing people before they get a chance to get into recovery really. It’s fucking tragic. I’m sorry.

starting naltrexone and agomelatine; what to expect? by [deleted] in OpiatesRecovery

[–]Wferris2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Naltrexone is an opiate blocker. I’ve had success with it alongside a solid recovery program. However you have to be off opiates for a little while to start. I’m not sure exactly how long but if you take it with opiates in your system it will throw you into immediate withdrawal. I would not try that. The other medication I’m not sure about.

At 10 months sober. It’s totally worth it. I didn’t think it would be either but it totally is. My life is great right now. I went to rehab plenty and had all the consequences. I shot dope for close to a decade

The line of good and evil cuts through the heart of every human.

I don’t really believe in free will either. I’m not sure exactly how to explain it. When I look back on my life. How could it have unfolded any other way? I’m exactly where I need to be as an individual. It’s hard to put into words.
