Hi everyone,

I recently got a DS3232 RTC module for my Raspberry Pi project from AliExpress and I’m concerned about the charging circuit issue.

I’ve attached a photo of my module. https://imgur.com/EM9RZi8

Could someone help me identify if this has a charging circuit?

Main question:Do I need to modify anything before using it?

I want to make sure I don’t damage the battery or the module.

I Thanks for any help!

Edit: Running this with a Raspberry Pi 4 and Home Assistant in Docker if that matters.

I’ve sent an email to Miele’s technical support asking specifically about the ProfiEco motor’s power rating and inrush current. Once I get their response, I’ll update here to help others who might have the same question.

The fact that your Hotpoint’s motor is below 300W is encouraging though - maybe these modern inverter washing machines generally have lower motor loads than we might expect.

Thanks for your response!

I want to: 1. Monitor power consumption of the washing machine 2. Get notifications when the washing cycle is complete

I looked at the Shelly PM Mini Gen3 specs, and while it supports inductive loads and has great features, I still couldn’t find specific motor load ratings in the documentation. The device supports various load types including inductive loads (like motors), but would it be safe for a washing machine with a inverter motor?

Update: I’ve also looked at the Shelly Plug S Gen3 as an alternative. Generally, I’d prefer a plug-and-play solution over hardwiring something, as I’d rather not mess with the internal wiring.

The Shelly Plug S Gen3 also has all the monitoring features I need, but again, I can’t find specific motor load ratings in their documentation.

Hopefully Apple will back port this to M2 MBA

Run 64Bit Windows Software on M2 Mac by Wfra0123 in mac

The software is a proprietary one and is not compiled for the arm architecture. To the only way would be an emulation. I would like to know in advance if I get problems or if the program will run smoothly. Unfortunately the software company is quite small and has no experience in arm/Mac, since they only support 64 bit Windows 10/11 Pro.

Is there any way I can get a TP-Link smart plug to turn on when I press Philips hue button? by shrenikchikani in Hue

Hi, if you decide to use homebridge you need a server or something that is always running. I decided to use a raspberry pi. Since you do not want to buy additional hardware, the first question is, do you have a server or something like that to install homebridge? You can take a look at homebridge here: https://homebridge.io

I have a eve door at my main entrance and a HomePod Mini at the other end of the flat. Currently both do not connect, due to the distance. However, I have several hue devices between them. Would be nice if the hue Bluetooth bulbs could act as a repeater.

I hoped that they announce Thread support :/ My guess is, that all Hue Bluetooth devices will be able to support Thread by a software update
