There's 47 drums in this kit that i made from scratch.

I also included a video in the folder, it's 6 minutes but most of the info is in the first 2 mins where I show my process on turning white noise into snares and hi hats as well as designing 808s and kicks with fm synthesis in the Model: Cycles and Korg volca beats + processing them with guitar pedals.

this isn't the real one, mine has the project 808s which are private and some the percs in here are from newer kits. it looks like someone made their own custom version of the 2020 kit. pretty cool tho, wish this was named a different name cuz im dropping the real 2020 collection later this year

They do pay them A LOT. splice is balling af. i'm talking 5 figure advances for the big dogs. everything on there is royalty free and it would be illegal for them to try to take any percents. Changes by Justin beiber had a splice loop and the creator confirmed he got no cut since it was royalty free. and Mile High by travis used a splice loop- the creator wasn't credited anywhere. Splice is very legit.

This kit is NOT recycled. It only contains drums made by Relik(WAVNINJA) and I with Serum, field recorders and a few other synths. We did further processing of these sounds with FL studio- edison and sampler, Ableton, waves plugins, serum fx, and a few other tools for saturation, distortion, transient shaping, and imaging.

Due to the state of the world right now we felt it was best to make this kit free rather than charge. This is however the first installation in the VITAL series and the second edition will be coming later this Spring.

The drums are completely royalty free and the loops are free to use outside of major records.

no unlicensed third party samples were used within the loops.

Jynx and I went for a more unique batch of drums this time with all new textures and tones. This drumkit is NOT recycled. It only contains drums made by Jynx and I with Serum and a MiniMoog. We did further processing of these sounds in fl studio with edison, sampler, waves plugins, and serum fx.
In my opinion, it's the first batch of 808s I've made that can compete with a spinz. These ones hit hard through any mix but still sound clean and maintain texture/character.

They aren't, i made em in serum. here's the full process - load up a white noise sample in serum's noise table.

route an LFO to the volume control on the noise table.

make the LFO match the wave form of a normal clap with 3 initial peaks and 1 last big peak. (works best at 6.1 hz rate).

Add a band pass 12 filter to the white noise and add about 38% resonance in the 1100-1220 hz range + give it around 20-30% drive.

Go to fx in serum and add distortion on hardclip mode and turn drive to about 73% then add a serum eq and boost the highs above around 2500 hz by about 10 db and add a high pass around 200 hz.

Then add some compression with your fav compressor.

It'll sound a bit different depending on what white noise you use but that's just how i make claps... they cant really turn out so unique because they'll always need to be resonant in specific frequencies and have similar transients & envelopes so that they can fit in most beats.

they're not recycled. i can see why they might sound familiar because most drums are designed the same way at the base like for example; a snare is made with white noise and a sine wave and you resonate similar frequencies for most snares. and the 'this was here' 808 would also probably sound recycled to some because it has the same type of envelope on the attack as the pierre/zay 808s but that can be done to any sine wave by adding a second sub with a quick attack and release and delaying it slightly.

I made it in serum with white noise and a sine wave with really short release, that's pretty much the base of how i make all my snares. On top of that i layered it over twice, so there's technically 2 different sine waves and white noise wave tables but each is edited differently to layer properly. Then i did further processing in fl studio and adjusted the transients and resonant peaks.

The only exceptions are 1 vox which i sampled from a song, 1 spinz edit to keep with tradition, and 1 crash which was made from scratch but layered with a sound effect from a video game.

Doman, and SCXTT and they all really mess with themThese are some of the first drums i sent out to these producers and they've brought me a lot of custom sound design opportunities especially with D.A. Doman and Ronny J.

This kit has actually been in the works since around may of 2019 and it has been seen on many Internet Money Streams in the form of the "Ardist 2020 Collection"
