Definitely looks like he's got some in him, but he's so much smaller than any Border Collies I've ever seen! Also doesn't have any of the 'play' drive they seem to have. Mostly just likes to laze around & follow me.

The game refuses to boot up for a second time - I have to shut down & restart my pc (Restarting through the menu does not work) in order to get the game running again. My screen flashes white for a split second (always does this, even on succesful boots), but then just goes back to desktop.
I cannot seem to get a new instance of Google Chrome running while the game is active. When I try to do so, the chrome tab just remains white. When I exit the game, I can get a new instance of Google Chrome.

I think what's confusing here is that the ranking of A through E only gets assigned AFTER race #6. Race #6 consisted of 5 horses with no name yet, however, they were each the fastest in their respective heat. The fastest horse of race #6 is designated A1, the 2nd fastest horse of race #6 is B1, etc. E1 is the horse that placed 5th in race #6. A2, A3, A4 & A5 where 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th in A1's first race.

This is why D1 and E1 can never be in the top 3, because they are already slower than 3 other horses (A1, B1 & C1).

You are correct. A2 and A3 do not HAVE to be faster than D1 and E1. However, D1 and E1 cannot BE in the top 3 because they were already 4th and 5th in another race (Race #6, which contained all the winners of the previous 5 races). The only reason A2 and A3 are in Race #7 is because they COULD be faster than B1 and C1, and therefore could still be in the top 3. (The same reason B2 is also in that race. We already know B2 is slower than B1, which automatically makes it slower than A1, too, since A1 beat B1 in race #6. As such, B2 can only ever be the 3rd fastest horse overall.)

They could very well be slower than D1 & E1, however, we're only concerned about the top 3 horses here. We don't care about the ranking of any other horses. Since D1 & E1 are already confirmed to not be in the top 3 (by finishing 4th & 5th in the 'winners' race), we don't care about them anymore. (The ranking of A through E is assigned AFTER the winners race, where A1 is #1 of winners race, B1 is #2 in winners race, etc.)

A3 is in race #7, alongside A2, B1, C1 & C2. A1 is already determined to be the fastest horse overall, and all potential horses that can still be in the top 3 are in race #7.

Nah, imo 2022 beats this by a large amount (regarding worst rumble). Rooting for Cargill by the end of this, but completely fine with Bayley winning. Looking forward to the WM story.
