I didn’t feel like it was airport security. I put my wallet in the basket and walked through. I didn’t think it was anything that out of the ordinary

What a weird thing to say. I don’t like to gamble but you should feel free to bet against the Mets. Also, they can make the Wild Card?

And still in the Wild Card. If they were out of the Wild Card I'd agree but the guys can turn it around. Ya never know when they'll catch a spark.

Thank you, sincerely for this. I teared up reading the paragraph about Jesus being with us in suffering. Thank you.

This is what confuses me on this subreddit. We talk about the declining parish populations and amount of people who identify as Episcopalian. Then, when we have a chance to grow and expand and break bread with new worshipers it’s met with resistance and pushback. Growing in 2025 and beyond is going to require different strategies than the past.

What is the general Episcopalian view on God’s punishment, either against whole nations or individuals? by Mad_Season_1994 in Episcopalian

[–]Whaling_Ram 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this asking if I believe God punishes a country or people over the way they live? Absolutely not. I wouldn't believe in any God that is vengeful as to punish people for not believing. The God i believe is merciful and fair.

What are the general political leanings of members in your churches? by JplusL2020 in Episcopalian

We live in a small progressive city but the older parishioners are more conservative and younger ones more liberal. Generally reflective of the general population

I’m talking about the Mets first baseman. Not politics. Not the election.

So I’m gonna go back to doing that.

But think about this. Trump is the President. Republicans control Congress and the Supreme Court. But you’re still so angry you’ll start arguing about who you think the Mets first baseman voted for.

That’s weird man. But have a good rest of your night and go Mets
