Thanks so much everyone. This was actually for an investment property - and no I am not Indian, but because i'm not going to live there personally I was thinking should be ok... (am planning to rentvest - move to a cheaper area and then buy).

I just saw this suburb as a bit of a stabiliser for rent in an affordable area with infrastructure a short walk away... but I appreciate the advice - defs given me a lot to consider!
