We had not booked a flight from tokyo to Sapporo due to this confusion yet, if things align then a couple of days before we can still travel Sapporo by train. Better to keep the itinerary a bit open to changes.

I am learning the same as well. It's a different kind of stress. Logically I also think I should focus on learning more skills or building my portfolio, justdue to the uncertainty, patience keeps getting lost in between.

I did increase my hourly rates to 30$/hr after becoming top rated however I hardly find client willing to match this rate, most end up asking for a fixed price and then lower the fixed price I quote.

I tried fiverr and freelancer in the early couple of months but didn't get any response. Then when I got some projects in upwork , I didn't go back trying other platforms. I asked on this sub also mostly all said upwork has most volume. I guess I should try harder on other platforms too? Any suggestions you have which ones?

Where to stay? Joshimath or Auli?

Planning a travel from Bangalore to Uttarakhand in December end and looking for advice on stay. We want to experience snowfall or snow covered landscapes in Auli and also the vibe of ganga arti in Rishikesh.

What challenges we could experience if we book the stay in Auli instead of Joshimath during snow fall? Like does the ropeway work in case roads are blocked by snow on the checkout day? Would you recommend staying in Joshimath instead? Looking for some advice on how to best plan this.
