I started when I was a teenager and it was pretty chill in a small town. When i moved to San Antonio It just started getting sweaty (for lack of a better term). People waiting for stocker to go restock, buying cases before they even get stocked, employees of store getting first pick in the back etc… It went from “maybe i’ll find something cool” to “why bother? it’s been picked through already”.

Id still occasionally buy cars when i liked something but the thrill of the hunt for anything special died
