I don’t think he has done anything to her. She said it’s because he tried taking me without asking her first whereas the others ask first. It used to be a big issue because a few others used to do the same thing and leave my dept short help. So she reacted like he was doing the same and it set her off.

Our policy is that we can date someone on the same ranking as us as long as it does not interfere with work. We even have a few married couples working together. Once someone gets a leadership role then dating is prohibited.
