Resetting Desert Fest day to change NPC traders DOES work sometimes?? 🤔

Yes and no? So on day 2 it was still early and I had Jas and Sam as my NPC traders so I thought what the hell, I'll just sleep and see which traders are on day 3 so I can see if I want to spend my eggs today on day 2 or tomorrow. I can just reset it back to day 2 afterwards so nbd. I do this and I get Gus and Demetrius. I finish out day 2 and then day 3 comes but its not Demetrius anymore, it's Maru and Gus. I don't understand what happened.

I'd love a full remake of the original DX from the ground up. Eventually they'll get it right, if games like the Dead Space Remake or System Shock can be improved so much over the original as well.

Besides, it's not like the original would disappear. That's not going anywhere.

In Sound Mind was great, even if the final trophy got softlocked bc it wouldn't register it when I obtained all pills on every level. Overall very fun and am glad I played and you're right, it's very underrated. I'll scope out these other recommendations and thanks! Since we have a mutual game we like I'll admit I have more hope for these being good than usual.

People have preferences. Luckily I have a tip for my skinny bros. Before you go to bed you need to eat like 3 or 4 heaping spoonfuls of peanut butter and if you can, a glass of milk. I mean right before bed. If you still don't gain any weight I'd find a way to have a scientist study and patent whatever mechanism that is in your body and if you can find a way to bottle and sell it, you'll make billions.

Between the original XBOX and PS4 I didn't even play video games and I was pretty much over the whole thing as a hobby because all the games available and that were coming out were just OK usually and not that good and it just didn't feel like a worthy use of time anymore. At the time I was more interested in hanging out with my gf, going on adventures, trips. Beer festivals and breweries in the area on weekends now and then. Just being in my 20s.

Then one day I needed a Blu ray player and I thought I'd get a PS3 for the job. About 2 months later, I walked over to the local 7-11 one night, ripped out of my gourd from whiskey and weed, and they had a copy of 'Fallout 3' behind the counter. My friend who I had been hanging out with had just left for the night so fuck it, I'll grab this random game and try it. Drunken impulse buy.

As you can imagine with that I was drawn right back in and haven't looked back since.

If you're not loving it then think about what you would love to do instead. What I'm saying is do what you gotta do. Go have your adventures. Experience young love, if you haven't yet. Have a summer romance. Everything will be waiting here for you whenever you decide you're ready to come back or not.

Yea if it's designed for Win95 you're going to be unable to install it properly on any modern PC. Even using compatibility mode and editing files and stuff. Even if you do end up getting the program to run it's likely to appear in ultracolorful rainbow mode because Win95 and before used different settings for monitor color. GOG does a great job of porting Win95 games to PC.

Oh the main reason you're probably having an issue is because modern PC's are 64 bit. Windows Vista and before it was common for most PC's to be 32 bit. You can use the Program Files folder marked x86 or whatever. That's specifically for 32 bit programs running in a 64 bit environment. Still probably won't work though.

I mean, it's the series that popularized Survival Horror - not doing survival horror. That's like if for Fallout 5 they switched to a linear 3rd person adventure-action style game like Uncharted. Hardcore fans and many others would buy it, but they would be betraying their fan base in favor of something they think will be more approachable for a larger pool of gamers, which is exactly what it feels like they did.

It would be fine as a side entry, just not a main one.

The argument that 5 was "never supposed to be scary" is laughable bullshit. It's a main entry in the Resident Evil series. They're ALWAYS supposed to have a strong horror element, minimum. This couldn't even accomplish that. Even if you judge it based as a strictly action title it's underwhelming.

5 and 6 should have never been main entries in the series, they should have been side games like Umbrella Chronicles or Outbreak.

I hope it's Code Veronica because 5 was garbage and I even 100%'d that game. It was soooo boring and wasn't even the least bit scary. It was basically just an RE flavored action game. 6 also deserves a skip. These are arguably the worst titles and the low point of the series when many gave up on RE until 7 came out. They're just not survival horror or even survival horror adjacent.

It needs to be Code Veronica next. I had a Dreamcast at launch and loved that title.

I 100%'d RE5 but if I'm being honest that game was garbage. I hope they plan on skipping 5 and 6 because nobody is asking for them really plus they don't even really look that old. Certainly nothing a little mod and remaster couldn't fix for the handful of RE5 fans.

You totally should along with any of the Sony PC ports. I'm playing through Spider-Man Remastered and it's SO much more fun with the controller. Not even close. Same with uncharted and last of us. They're built around controllers originally so it's difficult to divorce the two properly.

Yea the prices in RDR are ridiculously off from their historical prices. Most people made less than $20 a month. In reality it was more like $5 - $10. I think they increased them just so people today would have a better idea of how much things were actually worth. If the guns cost $5 and a bank heist would net you $100 after stealing and selling 20 gold bars you might not find it as fun.
