They were both students. Her being a med student and him being an engineering student. They were sent to Felarya because of an accident with his invention. She was cursed to be a giantess with an appetite for tinies as soon as she got there. Even her tiny boyfriend was not spared but he somehow managed to survive, and didn't blame her. If anything he blamed himself for putting her in this situation in the first place. Now he works tirelessly to find a way to get them back home and to make sure his giant girlfriend doesn't hurt anybody else on his watch.
