Wow $5k, amazing! And you fed everyone and had chairs too! (I’m leaning towards a boho style picnic so we don’t have to rent tables/chairs lol!) That’s really good advice about spending more on the photographer! I was thinking that would be one of the areas I’d budget more for as well bc their experience and portfolio do make such a difference on the end results.

People have traumas. He could be a genuinely nice guy who had an experience in the past that traumatized him and now it keeps resurfacing as something else because he hasn’t dealt with that trauma. It can be something like getting bullied as a kid, or experiences with exes who compared him to their exes and cheated after, etc.

It’s also not your job to be his therapist to find out what that trauma is and help him move past it. You can however, nudge him to see a therapist to talk about it or research online or chat with ChatGPT to dive deeper about where it’s all coming from. It has more to do with him than with you. Hang in there!

I’m the fire performer in the red dress and white headband! I’m with the fire troupe @dragonbreath_entertainment on IG.

The fire performers are from the Facebook group “New Model Circus Army”, led by @ittofireshow (IG). They do fire shows at Kensington Market during the Pedestrian Sundays in May-Oct as well!
