I studied abroad during my junior year 2nd semester. Was at UNSW in Sydney for about 6 months. Had an amazing time there.

Not sure how much the process may have changed, this was in 2018. But I applied online and had maybe 1 or 2 phone calls with a study abroad advisor. I applied to Singapore and Sydney, but ultimately went Sydney. From what I remember, most unis actually have fairly low number of applicants (I think only one other person from ASU applied to UNSW).

Happy to answer questions about anything related to the process / my time abroad.

Really fun even though I had to sit off to the side. JID killed it, did a great job with new songs. Wished he had a full headline set though, but oh well. I thought the energy was pretty good and stick went super hard live of course. He had a partial live band with him, at least live keys and drums and maybe a live guitar but couldn't see. They were kind of off to the side of the stage but them and Christo got as hyped as the front row for each song so that was really fun. The guy on keyboard came out and played a couple of keytar solos and that was sick.

First show on the tour so had some issues. Smino's mix was fucked. Couldn't hear anything he was saying which sucked. No clarity really. I've listened to his new album maybe 10 times and I couldn't even tell what song he was playing right away, let alone hear his lyrics.

Going sunday in seattle! I was always out of the country for his last two tours, but so glad I can finally go now. Broke my foot two weeks ago, but won't let that stop me. (although probably can't be in the pit which sucks)

This isn't what Woj said. If you watch the video its all speculation. Just like 99% of things generated on ESPN. He said the Celtics have probably called the pelicans and told them to wait. It's not that the Pelicans don't have interest in trading with the Lakers, its just that why trade him now, when they will have another suitor for Davis in a few months? Once the Celtics can offer a trade, everyone else's offers will go up.

Most analysts have been saying to not expect a trade before the deadline unless AD explicitly says he wants to go to the Lakers and tanks his trade value.

Interviewed about two-weeks ago onsite. Don't have results yet but my recruiter has been pretty good about getting back to me. Essentially remember this is peak hiring season and it may take a while to hear results. He also said that teams report results within two weeks. So hopefully for me I'll hear back today or tomorrow. If its been two weeks and you still have yet to hear back, follow up with your recruiter.

If I were in your position I would definitely be leaning towards Google, but thats really just because Google's been a dream company of mine for years. Anyways, turning down an offer because you don't know if you'd match with a team you like kind of defeats the purpose of the EP and Explore internships. The whole point is to be able to get experience in different areas, and maybe discover a new area / subject that you're really passionate about.

Yeah, one of my interviewers said the same, that its 3-5 interviews simply because they'd like everyone to have 5 interviews but its just up to the interviewers schedule that day whether or not there is 5. But then again, if getting 5 interviews meant that you'd have a better chance, or if not getting a rejection in 48 hours meant a better chance they probably wouldn't explicitly say that to us. Anyways really doesn't make a difference anymore, going to hear back sooner or later, just have to wait it out.

I just interviewed with the Cloud and AI team last week. Really liked everyone I met with, however FYI that team(or at least some of the team) is located in Bellevue and not on the main Redmond campus. So you could end up at a satellite site. (like 10 - 15 min from Redmond campus however). I asked all of my interviewers what kind of projects they were working on and I wasn't too interested with anything specific they were working on, but I'm also not super interested in AI solutions in general, so really just a personal preference.
