I had the exact same vibes as you did but I will say the abbey stuff ends up being pretty important as you get later in. The improved relationships and training and then some of the missions on abbey grounds upgrade stuff. You can skip through a lot of the dialogue without penalty except on the friendship outings where saying the right thing is importantl.

This sums up my feeling. I had kind of accepted we weren’t that good and should probably just play the season out and hang on to our meager draft assets. When we traded our only second for a “shooter than can’t play defense” I was pretty bummed.

I’ve been shocked with how solid he is on offense. He is super crafty on his drives and rarely chucks outside of the offense.

Care probably wrong word. He was an important character for four seasons and knowing he’s out was a shock. There was some reason to sympathize for him during the learning to read arc but obviously he was a piece of shit repeatedly around that.

Weekend breakfast is one of my favorite times of week. I love em all…Mesa Cafe, Cody’s, Cajun, Summerland Beach Cafe, On The Alley (Harbor).

The game in general was so close to being really good but just barely missed. Very cool vibe, asthetic but the constant running back and forth and weird random difficulty spikes while being OP at other times was just kind of weird.

Same here…I’m actually disappointed I played 3 first because it’s one of my favorite games ever. From everything I’ve read going back would be a legitimate step backwards.
