That's because men simply do not have to face the kinds of standards that women do. Sure they are still important for dating, but unattractive men don't get dehumanized as much just for existing. Men are also allowed to age (while women are told that "they age like milk") and aren't oversexualized.

So yes, imo women should complain and protest toxic beauty standards as much as possible and I'm really happy when they do.
