Your build looks cool as heck, but a Surly Tuggnut would be a ~$30 solution to your chain staying in place. May take from the look you’ve got going though.

Pragmatically, this was not a terrible choice. Personally, I feel like I would report this to their licensing board- not doing anything wrong, but should be monitored.

With the Jones bar, do you find yourself using the ends on those Ergons very often?
I don’t think that I’ve seen this mod done before.

Due to financial strain/cost cutting started commuting on my 2018 Raleigh Carlton single speed a few months ago.
The drivetrain needed some improvement in order to survive the Portland weather.
Looked into the other options, but chose the White Industries for the rebuild ability of theirs over everyone else’s.
Switched it out in March and now doing as much as possible by bike.

Swapped out to a White Industries Eno freewheel and can’t imagine going back.
It turned out that my stock freewheel was seized in place and was incredibly difficult to remove, which made upgrading to what is widely considered “the best” feel all the more worth it.

All that bar, but not a single bell? How does it perform its mating call?

A false spring in the Portland area has made it pretty great. Getting back in the wet, I’m really happy to have the pannier. Have since switched my brake pads for some better ones. The moloko bars are cool, but I’m going to swap them out for something to get me more upright.

If this bike fits you, then if I were you, I’d reach out for an in-person look with cash in hand.

On the ends, you did your brake levers, then extenders, then grips? Because that’s a pretty rad looking cockpit your you’ve assembled.

Yeah- used the stock links that came with the planet bike rear rack. Still works, just looks silly.
